The placement opportunities are very good.
The alumni is very strong and still supports the college even after passing out

The campus area is very small and uniform

Course Curriculum Overview :

The ktu curriculum is comparatively easy compared to the other curriculum and will help students to get good marks if studied properly. First year they teach us all the basic knowledge required to become a good engineer

Class Size : 65Course Fees : INR 45000 per year

Placement Experience :

The placements of this college is very good and it is one of the main reasons not only me but everyone chooses this college.last year the highest package was 52 LPA which was received by two students.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The tuition fees of this college is slightly higher compared to the other government college as this is a self financing college but it is still reasonable. But for fests and other college events, students have to give the amount to celebrate.

Campus Life :

The campus life is meh. Its not the best but also not the worst the campus is not very big. So u can have friends from every branch and get to know everyone. The campus is in kochi so u can have fun outside the campus.

Hostel Facilities :

The hostel rooms are fine as it is a government college it provides enough facilities for us to live there. The food is good as there is neychor and chicken curry or biryani every alternate days which is very nice.

Hostel Fee : INR 4000 per year

Admission :

This college admits students based on their keam rank. It is through the KEAM allotment process. It is a fairly simple process not too complicated. We have two internal exams and an end semester exam every semester which is good.

Faculty :

Teachers are approachable and very hardworking. Always ready to clear any doubts that are asked by the students. Teachers are also very experienced in their field and make us understand the concepts very clearly

NIT Cailcut-The Good,Bad and the Ugly

Placement Experience:

Students can apply for campus placements by the beginning of the 4th year.High paying companies are attracted by the placement cell which offer good packages to the students. The average packages for the circuital branch are pretty high. Each year about 200 companies are invited. The highest package for Electrical and Electronics has gone upto 38LPA with average package of about 14LPA in the graduation year 2024.About 128 students had registered out of which 120 students were placed.The minimum salary offered was 5LPA.

Is engineering here worth it?

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible from 7th semester to sit for interviews. The pod.ai app helps us in making the resume and calculating a cgpa to appear for the intwrviews. The pod.ai registration fees is 500?. Companies such as nissan,infosys,commandtech,bimlabs,gulfasia etc has visited . And the highest package was 11 LPA and lowest was 3 LPA
