Nice campus environment along with excellent teachers for every subject.
College experience was nice because it is a most renowned college of Nainital and lots of big names studied there.

Course Curriculum Overview :

Courses are very vast. In the facilities mentorship you can easily achieve success in academics. Their teaching method is so simple to grab it. If still unable to understand their are extra classes as well.

Class Size : 50Course Fees : INR 150000 per year

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Not such regular hikes in college fees. Books easily available in campus or out campus you can buy where you want to. Examination fees extra from the regular college fees. Scholarships are their so that students can apply for abroad as well.

Campus Life :

Kumaun University library has a highly specialized collection of 3.5 lakh books, theses, periodicals, standards, reprints, maps, toposheets, globes, records, CD-ROM in the field of Basic Sciences, Humanities, Technology and other allied subjects. The University has services like Reprography, On line Text full e-journals, OPAC.

Admission :

95% is the first cutoff till 85%. Application form you will get from college or from their website as well. Nominal fees 1200 rs. April to June. No such reservation criteria. Area of improvement is to control the population who are applying for different courses should be available in the college website.

Faculty :

If I talk about faculty, mostly are PHD or Doctorate digree holders. They have years of teaching experience. Their approach to students is very helpful. In their mentorship lots of students now became IAS, IPS, Ministers and doing jobs in many other different sectors.

After 5 semester students are eligible for campus placement only. This year only one visited to the campus for chinese language students. My plans are obviously to find a suitable job for me.where I can build my skills and career simultaneously.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I was always suggested to be a part of a government university, I was always curious about the history of Shakespeare, John Milton, John Keats, and other novelists, poets, and writers who want to explore studies and choose English to study the depth of it. Doon University is a famous university for the language courses it serves. The improvement needed is that children who have stage fairs should be given more opportunities to express themselves, and students should asked to compose their own material. The examination timings are flexible and are composed and performed according to the legibility of students.

Placement Experience:

General placements are been given to the students. But only 50 percent of the students have recieved the placement with highest this year being 13.92L per annum and average of 3-4 L per annum. Generally the students go for off campus placement.

Review of Doon University in short

Course Curriculum Overview:

The basic things in the course structure was to make students learn about the language it started from the basic and was taken to an advance level which people use in daily working society. Advance level education is provided in the 3rd year so that people can work easily. Many students even opt to do masters and then start teaching students. Some suggestions can be the additional courses that consume a lot time can be made a lil short in duration.

On-campus Placement is not as good as some private colleges but yes it is and many students get their placement off-campus. The main recruiter is amazon, many of the language students are placed in Amazon and the average package is 5-6 lakh per annum.
