Remarks :
College management is too tough. Never listens to students. Those who raise a point is considered as a bad student
Entrance Preview :
The college has a high reputation in the whole state. The review is good. Also, it contains friendly environment. The architecture and the maintenance are good. All the facilities are available within the campus. The college is near the city Kochi so staying outside is also comfortable and have transportation facility
Course Curriculum Overview :
I reviewed the courses in the college from the college website. Find the appropriate one and also realised that the university has changed. Then I visit the KTU website and find the course that I choose and download the pdf of my course curriculum and review it.
Internships Opportunities :
Yes, our college provides an internship. But they didn't support at all. The limited company came for internship and select some students. Our department provides an internship for 20 days in a hospital IT department.
Placement Experience :
More than 3 companies came for placement. But they didn't mention the number of students needed for placement. Wipro, CTS and a call centre came for placement. The first step of the interview process is the aptitude test then the passed one's can attend the interview. They didn't offer any but ask about how much expecting. After getting placed there is a huge form to fill also the job location is unknown till we finished the course they asked to attend through online
College Events :
The college conducts seminar frequently by inviting the most respected personals. Also conducts IEEE research program every year. The students can attend the paper presentation. Each department conducts symposium every year. Also, have technical programs such as robotics and A.I etc. Celebrates Onam every year which is fun and delightful. Conducts talent program
Fee Structure And Facilities :
For us the fee was expensive. We have 4 semesters. Each semester we have to pay 75000. That was too much. But for the next batch, they reduce the fee into 48000 but still, we have to pay 75000. That was unacceptable but they didn't consider our request for reducing the fee.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Don't know they have any scholarships programs. Never informed us about anything at all. And no students in knowledge have any of them
Campus Life :
The gender ratio is equal. Conducts tour program for final BTech students. Conducts seminars and workshops each semester. There are no political programs at all. Conducts IEEE submits every year which is too helpful. Technical programs conduct live robotics sections
Hostel Facilities :
The college hostel is conducted by sisters. Single room with 3 single bed and 3 table and 3 shelves. And have three plug points which will be switched off after 10 pm. The food in here is great. Conducts functions too. Study time is 7:30 pm to 10 pm. The fee structure is 60000 per year
Alumni/Alumna :
Seniors were great for us, not for all department. We have limited time to get attached to each other. They are busy with their project work
Exam Structure :
The exam is continuous. The questions are not at all tough if you go through everything. One person is only allowed in one bench with space and under the surveillance cameras. They give a booklet for the exam with 40 pages. No additional pages. The lab exams conducted before the written exam.
Admission :
First of all check-in to the college website. They have an application to fill. Fill up the application with appropriate details and apply. They will call you in the given number and ask you to visit the college and also ask you to bring certificates. After confirmation, they will take your certificates and the fee.
Faculty :
I met the staffs on the second day of my college. Most of the staffs are M.Tech qualified. Limited PhD qualified. For M.Tech we have one guide for the project. The guide is given according to the topic we choose. They guide through the details. Give appropriate instructions.
