- the thing i liked most about our college is that, it is located at the middle of surat city which makes various services and faccilities easy to grab.
- social life of our college is very excellent. the senior - junior interaction is best , also various technical and cultural fests and clubs gives opportunity to students to show up their skills.
Dislikes
- thing I didn't like about our college is the poor maintenance of infrastructure ,especially lift of first year boys hostel is not working , we were tired of assending 4 floors everyday for atleast 5 times in order reach in our rooms
- poor and unmaintained building structure of canteen and student complex is also a thing of concern. Also there are perticular areas in our campus where garbage and waste furniture materials are dumped frequently
Course Curriculum Overview :
our course curriculum is designed by our faculty members . it mainly focuses on various aspects and skills in that particular branch. our mechanical branch's syllabus is mostly taken from GATE exam syllabus. exams are conducted twice per semester namely, midsem and endsem, also some classtests,lab quiz,viva and practicals are conducted based on portion covered. But yet there is lot of scope to improve and introduce practical knowledge in curriculum .
Internships Opportunities :
Internship offers are offered by various companies from 3rd year. most of them will also give you stipened. well known companies run this internship drives . it is really helpful from experience and further job opportunity point of view .
Placement Experience :
placements of our college are really excellent. highest CTC offered was 64 LPA . In our branch highest CTC offered was 18 LPA. top international and national companies comes for campus interviews like Audi, Mercedes , L&T ,Bajaj, etc. Around 70-80 % of each branch students are placed yearly, rest of them opt for higher studies or Bank exams
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
fee strucure of tution: odd sem - 76000 even sem - 70000 fee structure of services provided: hostel - 7500 , mess - 19500 , electricity charges - 6800 student activity fund - 1000 , water charges - 1080 caution money ( refundable ) - 2500 except tution and mess fes, all other above mentioned fees are paid once in year. there are several scholarships and fee remission schemes available for the students who are eligible .
Campus Life :
social life of college is excellent where student get exposure and stage to show up their skills. following are biggest fests arranged annually in our college : Minded (technical events) - held in March. Sparsh ( cultural event) - held in January end or in February . there are various technical and cultural clubs which are manged by students. only where students can shape their hobbies and skills. some of them are : Phoenix aero - aeroplane and drone Phoenix car - racing car drishti - all the technical events convex- photography malang - dance aakruti - drawing etc. there is wide scope to improve your sport too 2 basketball courts, 2 tennis courts , 2 volleyball courts, 2 badminton courts gym equipped with AC, table tennis arena, huge ground for criket and football.
Hostel Facilities :
you will get allotment of hostels according to your year , for first year boys Gajjar Bhavan is allotted while for girls MTB hostel is allotted. hostels rooms are equipped with fan ,tubelights, cupboards, Bed, two study desks and chairs, lan(wi-fi) supply . there is common bathroom with hot water supply , which is cleaned by workers daily. even rooms are also cleaned by workers two times in a week. comming to mess food, it's quality and taste is really good.But the problem is non-veg food is not served in mess.
Admission :
I have taken admission in this college based on my rank in jee mains (33,444 / 97.09%le) . total 6 rounds of JOSAA nd 2 rounds of CSAB are taken during admission process. there are reservation benifits for category students, students of foreign countries etc.
Faculty :
In our brach faculty there are around 40 members most of them are highly quallified some of them are even world's topmost journal publishers. their teaching style and interactions with their students is very friendly. books told by them for reference really helps to study their subject easily, also they will allow you to ask your doubts personally .
