Course Curriculum Overview :

I always had a liking towards the college and many of my family friends have already studied here and are in various good places, and also there is a lot more informative exposures we can collect from Sastra more than education like extra curricular activities like singing, so I've always dreamt of joining thisone thoughel after joining only I now understand that particularly my course is somewhat challenging to study and pass as the subjects are so wague.

Class Size : 59Course Fees : INR 75000 per year

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Here in Sastra, they increase their fee some 2.5% for every semester, so the fee structure is pretty more than compared to any other Anna University colleges, regarding the scholarships yes there are scholarship for people who have lost their parents after joining the college and Campus is usually well appreciated in Sastra but this year as it is discussed everywhere there is recession period over everywhere like even in Top IIT's, So this year placements has been somewhat duller than other years

Campus Life :

Campus life is actually excellent, and especially hostel life is splendid more than anyone can expect that to if u get an superr friendly environment, library can be acceses anytime u want, technologically and for research oriented people who are interested can surely join SASTRA as it has a very unique blocks and people for encouraging you in that,and also extra curricular clubs are everywhere in SASTRA as they encourage you in every way possible

Admission :

Sastra's admission is purely based on your board marks and JEE marks, there is no management kinda thing here, there is basically two streams, first one is based on collectively of your board marks and JEE, and the second one is Purely JEE, I got it through JEE

Faculty :

Faculty members are well educated and they help us indeed, Ofcourse apart from certain people others are very helpful and friendly in nature,We can interact to them or contact them whenever needed and we always have a google classroom for that query related things and we also have whatsapp grps too

Students starting placed from their last semester. Reputed companies gave an offer. Like tcs, Accenture, Infosys, etc. The highest package will be 60k and minimum 25k. 98% got placed before completing the degree. 55% above is the minimum for placement if you want to be placed in a high package of salary Job.

SASTRA College Life- An Amazing Experience

Admission:

I got the Admission in this college based on 12th marks and Jee main. i got Jee main score of 130 and 12th marks of 95%. so based on this they will ready a common Merit list and publish the All India ranks. based on your AIR , you will be called for counseling. You have to go to the SASTRA campus, on your allotted counselling date and time and Book the Branch of your choice. This is the Admission process

Course Curriculum Overview:

The Course Curriculum is really good it's on par with Bits and Nit syllabus. It's well designed to both suit the students needs and also equip them well with the basic fundamental concepts which can further strengthen their core concepts knowledge . moreover , the syllabus is designed in such a way that it covers 85% of gate exam syllabus. so we can also appear for gate exam immediately after completing our course. The Exam structure is based on conceptual learning. one has to be well equipped with concepts in order to pass in the exams. We must not mug up at any point of time as SASTRA exams will test your concepts rather than ur memory capacity. It will have 3 Cia exams out of which the best 2 exam scores will be considered for internal assessment and then followed by final semester examination which consists of 100 marks out of which 50 will be considered for overall grading. This is the exam structure
