DYPCET a place where boys turn into men

Dislikes

  • I didnt like the way the faculty sometimes operates.

Course Curriculum Overview :

The course curriculum is actually good. It has new technologies and some extra curriculur stuff which provides students to explore different fields. The labs are good and equipped with new computers. It is a good curriculum overall.

Placement Experience :

The placements are good. They have a dedicated training and placement department and a placement officer which help students connect with the companies. Also they provide training for aptitude test, GD etc

Fees and Financial Aid :

The total fee when i took admission was 1,15,000 per year. They obviously have the government scholarships for the reserved category students. And 50% tuition fee waiver for open category students whose income is below 8 lpa. And every year they give 100% scholarship to the topper of the class.

Campus Life :

The campus is very small. But the college has its team in almost every sport. So. You can join if you are interested. There are many clubs in every department. There are clubs like photographers club etc

Admission :

I applied through mhtcet portal and got the seat through cap rounds. The cutoff is pretty high for Cs branch. And an average one for electronics. The admission process was very smooth. You just have to carry all the documents.

Faculty :

The faculty are highly qualified. Most of them are very knowledgeable people. Also they help you if you go to them. Some are very friendly as well. While some might be very rude at times. Generally they are good.

7th sem students are eligible for placement in btech. Tata, tcs etc have came for placements. Highest package told to us in 33 lpa ctc that too in mba if i remeber correctly amd average is 6 lpa. For my course, there are no people in 3rd amd 4th year, so no idea for btech ECE. 25 percents is what i have been told are getting placements. I am preparing for gate, ese amd psus so i dont want placement.

Placement Experience:

The placement scenario at VIIT Pune is impressive, with students becoming eligible for placements from seventh semester. Renowned companies such as TCS, Accenture, Capgemini and L&T Infotech regularly visit campus, offering numerous jobs opportunities. The highest package offered last year was 44 lpa with average package of 7.5 lpa. The profile offered range from software development and data analysis to consultancy and core engineering roles. Around 85% students secure placements. My plans is to use my skills to become a software developer in future.
