Course Curriculum Overview :

I chose ECE because of the upcoming industrial advancement that's occurring in India. The reason I chose Adi shankara was it's very convenient for me to reach there as it's near my residence. They provide enough opportunities to develop your skills but we have to use them.

Class Size : 45Course Fees : INR 56000 per year

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

You will get scholarship based on your keam or jee rank. If you are taking management quota you can get scholarship based on 12th board exams results or community reservation. You will also get scholarship based on acedemic performance After covid pandemic placements have reduced.

Campus Life :

Annual festivel is Brahma it's a wonderful 3 day event Books are available in the main library and we also have library in every branch Sports and arts is little behind comparing to other aspects. There are many social groups and technical communities like IEEE,gdsc,tinker hub etc...

Admission :

If you are taking admission with the entrance exam you have to attend keam or jee. The cutoff marks will be different every year. If you are taking management quota you just need to pass the entrance exam. Either Jee or keam. The admission process can be done online by applying on their website or by visiting the college

Faculty :

Faculty to student ratio is appropriate and most of the faculties are very friendly and approachable.we can approach them during lunch break or any free time.We can also text them or call them at convenient times.

NIT Cailcut-The Good,Bad and the Ugly

Placement Experience:

Students can apply for campus placements by the beginning of the 4th year.High paying companies are attracted by the placement cell which offer good packages to the students. The average packages for the circuital branch are pretty high. Each year about 200 companies are invited. The highest package for Electrical and Electronics has gone upto 38LPA with average package of about 14LPA in the graduation year 2024.About 128 students had registered out of which 120 students were placed.The minimum salary offered was 5LPA.

Is engineering here worth it?

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible from 7th semester to sit for interviews. The pod.ai app helps us in making the resume and calculating a cgpa to appear for the intwrviews. The pod.ai registration fees is 500?. Companies such as nissan,infosys,commandtech,bimlabs,gulfasia etc has visited . And the highest package was 11 LPA and lowest was 3 LPA
