Entrance Preview :
The pdpu provides a unique opportunity in the field of petroleum engineering and other disciplines also. The placement scenario which everyone looks for is quite impressive and most of the students are getting placed in all the respective disciplines. The opportunity for further studies is also boosted at the university by providing the student's exchange program and even the global interns where foreign students visit the campus and study and share their experiences. Overall if the individual is getting admission in pdpu should definitely not miss this wonderful opportunity.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The course curriculum is fantastic is learning along with experience the industry point of view so that individual get the overall idea of how the industry operates and this is the reason the placement is high at pdpu. The curriculum includes all the course related to core branch and some of them are for life skills and communication skills which is quite necessary and required.
Internships Opportunities :
College provides LOR for the internship and one can apply for the internship if desired. But many internship programs are run by pdpu itself so that one doesn't need to go out searching for it where an industrial person comes and teaches in the lab. Lab experience is also well with costly equipment and all well maintained.
Placement Experience :
Placement is very good it is very impressive most of the students get placed. Job opportunity out of campus, as well as facilities, provide GATE coaching within the campus at no other fee. A student who wants to crack interview are specially prepared by the Training and placement cell at the pdpu and it is compulsory for all the students to attain it. Different institutions come to take the mock interview and evaluate the students and this is how we improve.
College Events :
All the event from independence day celebration to Diwali, Navratri, Holi, mahashivratri, Christmas etc. Different fest both technical and nontechnical. Student participates and wins a lot of cash, we as the team won cash worth 5k INR. Events of improving communication skill and group discussion are helped frequently so that individual gain something out of it
Fee Structure And Facilities :
Fees structure is feasible as we can see previously. We know that quality comes at a certain price. Today the investment done will yield a great result in the future. Fees can be compensated by a scholarship provided by the university and applying for loans at 0% which the university provides the outside few references.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
College provides scholarship worth 50% of the fees so around 1.5 lakhs per year. Scholarship to the most intelligent and top merit scholar achieves from University and by chairman Dr. Mukesh Ambani the award for the degree.
Campus Life :
Campus life is a wonderful and green campus with proper hygiene everywhere. The gender ratio is quite equal. Diversity is each one is helpful to another irrespective of the gender and motivates to do work. Labs are the best thing with costly equipment and well maintained and compulsory to attain so that all can learn from the lab. Sports session compulsory for a 1st year along with NSS or NCC. Debates, drama, fashion are the most active groups in pdpu.
Hostel Facilities :
Mess food is very good and hygienic with sweet and paneer items along with Jain counter and non-veg counter separately. Mess facility includes gyms, table tennis, sports equipment room, ground, ac rooms and cleaning every day by the service of the hostel. WiFi service through the year and high speed along with it.
Alumni/Alumna :
Extremely helpful and proper guidance and advice on what to do and how to do. Best senior and alumni summit is carried out every year to enhance the experience for the individual regarding further career management.
Exam Structure :
The exam fees for the university is 2.5 lakh around this year 2016-2020. Mess/food and hostel fees are 1.5 lakhs per semester but the food is hygienic and living include the ac rooms. Gyms, table tennis court, grounds etc to entertain and live free and hygienic.
Admission :
First, the Gujarat board exam prepares a merit list and in which the students get admission based on merit the higher rank in the merit of acpc the more easily and comfortably can select the branch individual desires for. I got admission through acpc in the 3rd round after waiting for 1 month around. In which merit of students who applied for 3 rd round was prepared and got selected in it. Other ways to get admission is through AIR rank.
Faculty :
Facilities are always helpful and provide the material and resources which are needed. Even the research activities are promoted by the institute and faculties so that individual can become the more developing in field purpose and know the gain of the basics
