- No proper classes were conducted for the subjects.
- Exams were postponed for a longer time and no proper time table was set.
Course Curriculum Overview :
My subject is MA. English. The curriculum comprises of complete history of English Literature along with great poets and their writings. The plus point is that it will help the students to learn about the different writing style along with knowledge of how to interpret the subject matter. The exams are conducted 4 Times for 2 years ie. 4 semesters. Along with these they give assignments to write to test your writing and comprehension skill.
Internships Opportunities :
As mentioned previously, the college doesn't have any internship opportunities for masters programme. It is majorly online work like assignments and skill based work but nothing to do with internship for masters.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The tuitions fees is very affordable. The tuition fees start from 9000 and goes upto 25,000-30,000. The student from the minorities section get huge discounts on the fees. They tuition fees also includes the book charges. There are reductions in fees even for People with ration card and other facilities are given. To take up the course they should have the pervious degree. For example - to write the master exam you shuld have a bachelors degree in that particular subject.
Campus Life :
As this is an online college there is no festivals or events. It is established to help working classes, house wife to get degree without attending the college. The Mysore campus has huge library but it is not available in bengaluru regional office. The college, however conducts various skill based classes for it's students.
Admission :
The eligibility for the course is the passing marks in previous degree. The application form will be available in KSOU office. It has its regional branches all over Karnataka including 4 in Bengaluru. The application process is simple and you can fill the application there itself and get admitted in the same day. The admission process requires your certificates along with duplicates for the documentation purpose while originals are given back after checking. There is no entrance exam for any course. The admission date are given in their KSOU portal or you can call the regional offices in your city.
Faculty :
All the faculty members are Ph. D holders. The classes happen online and they answer all the questions in each session. In person class happens in Mysore. The teachers have given their phone numbers. We can call them when ever we want and solve our problems.
