    Course Curriculum Overview :

The curriculum we had was very reliable to the present needs of the market which helped a lot in applying it in working mode. The teaching methods were upto date with avudio-visual aids which helps a lot in understanding teh concepts easily.

    Internships Opportunities :

I had the opprtunity to do my internship in a Govt hospital during my Post graduation course in which we were provided with theoretical and applied knowledge of the course we studied which further aided us in gaining knowledge.

    Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The fees of the course was affordable as i had access to scholarship which made the tuition fees very accessible. In the span of 2 years of the course didnt have any problem with paying the course fees.

    Campus Life :

The experience i had in the campus was a memorable one with lot cultural, academic and several other programmes which were conducted throughout the year to cater to the talents of the students which would motivate them further and nurture their talents.

    Hostel Facilities :

I got the opprtunity to stay in a state govt hostel which was inside the campus. the hostel was free of cost for meritorious students which had access to food, lodge, gym, library, and wi fi too which was helpful for the students all together.

    Admission :

The couse had CET at the initial stage to take the best students of the lot. We had to score 60 % in our PUC. Most of the application process was online which was easy to be done even for the stuedents who were on remote areas,

    Faculty :

The individual attention to the students by the faculty was very helpful in learning the course. The faculty is top notch with lot of experience. the teachers werre available to the students in all the needed times.

    Remarks:

St. Joseph's College is one of the oldest Catholic institutions and is a brand which is one of the factors that has attracted me. The reason I went with the course was because of the exposure the course offers as most of the professors are from the industry and they don't give any oldschool textbook knowledge. I wanted to do a full fledged Masters degree and not a diploma and this is one of the few colleges in Bangalore which offers this course.

    Placement Experience:

Since this is a first course, the professors themselves have made a placement cell where they go out of the way to get their friends and various people from the industry to hire us. They even took down our dream list of organizations to work with and are trying to get them on board.

    Remarks:

Nothing negative there is a very positive atmosphere in the college and the students studying also are very helpful and kind and very good to talk. Students come from all over India and also abroad. Secularism prevails in our college.

    Remarks:

The college is a highly politically active space. With the space being currently dominated by one of the many political thoughts, it can be rather discomforting for many. It is suggested that the applicant is aware and tolerant of diverse political thoughts.

    Admission:

I applied online and then went for the interview. The admission department asked a few basic questions and reviewed my previous marks and qualification. As the MA in Journalism and mass communication was a newly introduced course, faculty were not as strict with the admission process.

    Placement Experience:

REVA promises 100% placement ASSISTANCE. It doesn't promise 100% placement. To be honest, our batch had a pretty bad experience with the placement cell. Our names were not registered to the placement cell. Teachers were quite helpful though, our faculty did help us with a few contacts for the internships and later, for jobs.

    Entrance Preview:

The admissions were purely based on merit so we didn't have any entrance exam for the post graduate programme in Economics. We did have a personal interview where the Head of Department took our interview to check our interest and aptitude in the subject.

    Admission:

There are forms available online (available on the website) which one can submit by filling in the required details. Once your details are submitted one can submit the nominal fee which confirms admission (post interview). Apart from that, there are physical forms available at the reception of the college from where the forms can be filled in.
