Course Curriculum Overview :

When i didn't got into MBBS at first i used to run away from veterinary because it was never my first choice but as i keep growing i got to know the opportunities and vastness of this field which motivated me to keep going You can do whatever you want after BVSc be it a government job as an VO or prepare for civil services or you can open your own clinic into any city Exams happen every 3 monthes for 3 times of which you have to pass in 2 so that you can sit in final exams that happens just after 3rd internals Internals usually are easy but final exams are moderate and Hard along with there are practicals also

Internships Opportunities :

There comes the worst part of this college as this is a very issue after being a central university college it gives just 50?/month to interns I'm a first year student so sorry I can't describe about the companies and all

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Tuition fee decreases as you passes by each year but for new students it's increasing currently it's 58600? for general and obc and 36800 for sc and st category Tuition fee for complete course will be around 1.2lakh to 1.4 lakh including tution Service and other charges SC and ST scholarships are available for students of category Stipened is very low camparing to other central colleges just 1500? per month making it just ?50/day but job opportunities are there after completion of just BVSc degree

Campus Life :

Festivals are not that common in IVRI except for foundation day and CARI foundation days most of the events are organised by the students itself or by mess or by the student council on occasions like holi diwali new years Books are available in library itself but you cannot bring your books with you in library you can read whatever available in library and can issue any book if you are a student of IVRI Sports facilities are average not having indoor courts for badminton or volleyball or basketball or running track nor any special trainer sports tournaments are organised by students and messes There are no such separate clubs for cocarricular activities but social life is good

Hostel Facilities :

Wifi facility is available each room accomodates 3 students large enough for 3 students with 4 separate almirahs and beds Mess food is superb as mess is run by students they decide what they want to eat and menu is decided by students of mess 5 stars from my side in meal section Hostel will be provided during time of admissionand rooms will be allotted on the day before your 1st class and you will be notified for this by the college Moreover if you want to live in a PG you can also live there and attend class daily but it'll be very hectic

Admission :

You should have minimum 75 percentage in 10th and 12th separately along with this NEET qualification is compulsory You can find application form at the official site of ivri.nic.in Application fees is 1500 for general and 700 for sc st candidates Reservation is available for category students of SC and ST and EWS Exams happen every 3 monthes 3 times a year and 1 final exam internals are easy but externals or final exams are bit moderate and hard Admission process is very easy

Faculty :

One teacher teaches approx 20 students at once which helps to establish good connection with teachers Teachers are very helpful and supportive you can approach them any hour be it related to studies or related to personal life they always guide and mentor us

Course Curriculum Overview:

I am a veterinary student so i will talk specifically about it. Course curriculum of veterinary is well designed and their is a provision of updating course curriculum every 7-8 years as per need. 1 year mandatory internship is a boon for students which helps students to learn practical approach in field of veterinary science.

Remarks:

The college is excellent in terms of infrastructure and facilities but the management is somewhat lazy on the administrative part, rest all the aspects of the college makes it an excellent place to study.
