Remarks :
We have a good college management but with a huge amount of students sometimes the management gets floppy. But then the backup plan comes to work.
Entrance Preview :
It is the knowledge village of RGPV University which is the biggest university in whole Asia. Secondly, the placement is good as compared to other colleges in the same area. Thirdly faculties are good in teaching especially in our branch. It is near to my hometown also.
Course Curriculum Overview :
Our course is pretty much simple but it is too much useful for our future. There are practicals which make learning easy. Value-based questions are also there which makes us a good human. We have five theory subjects and a practical subject. For each subject, we have a total of five chapters that end our book.
Internships Opportunities :
Yes, college sends students for any meetings or in seminars whenever possible. TCS is the major company in our college which takes lots of students with it. Other than TCS we have many startups that come to college. A huge number of local companies of Indore come to college recruiting students.
Placement Experience :
Taking a look at placements and job opportunities I would say college has a lot of companies for us. From the highest package to lowest one there is a large number of companies that come in college as close campus and some as an open campus. TCS is the major company in our college which takes lots of students with it. Other than TCS we have many startups that come to college. A huge number of local companies of Indore come to college recruiting students.
College Events :
On the college level, we have "swaranjali" celebrated every year. Lots of students take part, it a festival of three days.in our branch college provides us with workshops on different languages. In this semester we had two workshops on Java and Python languages. Along with it engineers day, world help day and many other events
Fee Structure And Facilities :
Like every other college, we have a feasible fee structure. We have a separate fees counter where all financial things are shown. Fees are fixed for a year. We have to pay it in two semesters. After paying fees we get a computerized slip stating that we paid the fees. We can pay online or by dd. For new students, cash can also be collected. Many scholarships are also provided to help children.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
With a smooth fee structure, the college provides scholarships to students. Scholarship to obc and sc/st students are provided by the college. Students need to fill a form online and then have to submit the documents in the college. Different teachers are assigned to different types of scholarships. Teachers provide a complete detail about scholarships.
Campus Life :
In front of many buildings, one could get lost in the first visit. Campus life is very cool. Clean surroundings proper place to sit and discuss with a canteen makes it awesome. We have a huge ground to play. Regularly sports competitions are there for students.
Hostel Facilities :
Our college has girl's hostel only so, I don't know about it. But near to college, we have lots of hostels and rooms available. But we can have lunch in our college mess. Every day we get tasty food to eat. Many teachers also have their lunch in the college mess. It has a fee of Rs 50 every day.
Alumni/Alumna :
We had a alumni meet. He visited and gave a brief description of the faculties provided by the college in context with other colleges. Seniors are very helpful. They provide the right path for any solution.
Exam Structure :
Rgpv university has a structured exam pattern. In a semester we have two mid-seems, a practical exam and the final semester paper. Along with it, we have an online test in college to gain more confidence. For every theory subject we have we have a semester paper and for the practical one, we have externals. For the preparation of externals, we have internals where we get what type of question can be asked my external and in the paper.
Admission :
I had given jee mains(pre) exam in which I scored 49 marks. Then I had applied in counseling of our state. On the basis of merit list, firstly I got another college, but then I put on upgradation and I got admitted here. Then one day I had to come to college to submit my documents. I came to college. The college had a proper admission room so that I would not go to two-three rooms, all the things were there in a single room.
Faculty :
Speaking about the faculties, I would like to say that they are really deep in knowledge and clears our doubts very well. Whenever we get bored in class they pass a joke or do something to make a happy environment of study. All the faculties have there masters degree in different fields from different colleges. Some of the teachers also have their Ph.D.'s in their education. The faculties come to class properly and teaches well with full enthusiasm and Try their best so that a student understands the topic.
