- Placement : NIT Allahabad is known for its placement .the avg package for BTech students is around 16 LPA , and for CSE it is about 26 LPA , and percentage placement is also better than many new IITs and most of the NITs .
- Faculty : faculties of this college are well educated and have a good knowledge about their subject and branch . Teachers are very helpful and they help in making projects very friendly.
Dislikes
- Campus life : Campus life of the college is not too good as expected from the colleges of national importance boys are not allowed to visit whole campus
- Infrastructure : As this college is old so its infrastructure is as good as many new NITs and IITs it has old infrastructure .
Course Curriculum Overview :
The course curriculum is according to National Education Policy (NEP). The course is specific to the branch you choose and related to the projects you prepare in the future related to your branch Mid-semester exams are held in mid of the semester around after 70 days after the start of the semester end semester exams are held about 5 months after the semester starts. The difficulty level of the exams is good not too easy and not too hard.
Internships Opportunities :
There are good internship opportunity provided by the college to the students. Many companies like Google, Microsoft, Facebook, and DRDO visit the college for summer internships to the students of their final and prefinal year. The chances of getting an Internship depend on the student's competency. Any deserving candidate irrespective of their branch can get an internship.
Placement Experience :
The placement of this college is better than most of the NITs and many new IITs. It has a good average placement. The average package for overall BTech students is about 16 LPA, for CSE it is about 26 LPA. The percentage placement of BTech students is approximately 75 % this year. Many companies visit to the college for placement like Google, Amazon, Facebook, Reliance, Samsung, and DRDO. My plans after getting the degree from this college is to get a good placement and give my 100 % for my company.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The per semester fee of the college is about 98000 rs. There is a 100% fee deduction for SC, ST, and OBC/GENERAL (family income less than 100000 ) students, a two-thirds fee reduction for OBC/GENERAL (family income less than 500000 ) students. Many scholarships are also provided to the students based on their Category, Family income, and Academic performance.
Campus Life :
The cultural fest of our college is CULRAV and it is held in the month of March, the technical fest of our college is AVISHKAR and it also held in month of March. Many books are available in the library of college, there are novels, stories, and many books related to academics, and are available for the students free of cost. There is four sports grounds in campus for different sports like badminton, basketball, cricket, football athletics, and volleyball. Mostly all the groups and clubs are run by the students like the astro club, robotics club, and coding club. A social group named Anokhi Pahal is also run by the students for free tution for the poor students of the localities.
Hostel Facilities :
Hostels provided for the first year and final year boys have good infrastructure and have good space , but hostel for second year boys have not good space . Hostels for final year boys is one of the best buildig in the college . Hostels are affordable for every students and quality of the mess food provided increases as the year of graduation increase . Quality of mess food for first year students is not too good . PG for both boys and girls are available at a affordable price in locality .
Admission :
Admission in the NITs is based on the basis of rank in JEE Mains , Admission is done through JOSAA . Cut-off for CSE branch for General students is around 5500 CRL in JEE Mains and cut- off decreases on the basis of category . Reservation benefits on the basis of Category , PWD , Women are available for the admission . The admission process is good and I think there is no any scope of improvement .
Faculty :
Faculties of our college are good and they are very helpul to the students . they have a good knowledge of their subjects . They teach the students from very basic and explain every topics very carefully . they are good mentor also and help students while making their projects in their fields. Any student can go in the cabin of any professor and ask any query at free time . Students can interact with teachers very easily.
