After spending one year here I get to know that this college have a really great infrastructure with good placement opportunities I guess something which need to get improvement here is the strictness for the students.
Social life is great here cause you will get people from all over India here with different thoughts and ideas

Strictness, because they doesn't allow us to stay out for long ,after 8:15 hostel door gets closed and then they'll make you call your parents
The burdon of attendance is huge here because you will have to maintain minimum 80% attendance to appear for the exams

Course Curriculum Overview :

Course curriculum here is actually good according to me because they not only teaches us theoretically but they actually shows the things in practical labs also and every machine work really well in all the labs ,also there is a soft skills course sts subject,where they makes us placement ready by teaching all the interview preperation techniques, presentation, co.mmunication skills and all

Class Size : 63Course Fees : INR 200000 per year

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Minimum tution fee here is 200000, while it can vary and go till 5lakh, for people with really high ranks in the exams called viteee, Also if you are topper of your boards then you will get a free tuition fee offer . So yeah we can say that its a bit more expensive than other colleges

Campus Life :

Well my life is was actually really fun I got to meet new people from almost every state ,I get to know about all over India ,also i attended the technical fest which was actually really good and the culture fest was also increadible Salim Sulaiman the great singer and also my favourite jonitha Gandhi came so overall it was a great experience .

Hostel Facilities :

They are a bit more strict about everything,like hostel entry time ,also they will take attandance every night,if you won't be in room by that time then they will also to to pay fine for it ,but the foot and other accommodation are good.

Hostel Fee : INR 120000 per year

Admission :

Yeah so if you have 60% marks in 12th so you can go for it , there will be their own entrace test called viteee exam,if you will get good rank in it then only you. Will get cat1 cse ,but if your rank is high and. You want cse then you will have to go for higher category where your fees is gonna increase

Faculty :

Basically the students faculty ration here is pretty good,i.e. 20:1 , almost every faculty are PhD holders also I feel like most of the teachers actually shows their interest in teaching us in what's ever good way they can ,we can also go to them anytime to ask them about anything , yeah but a few of them are really strict for their assignments and all but overall they are good only.

Average college but a good place to study on your own

The campus placements start in the 7th semester. Due to the recession, there is a lot of backlash when it comes to placements. It has been quite poor for the last few years. But it depends on how the student is prepared for the competitive world.

Reality of Veltech

Placement Experience:

Placement is good for the CSE and IT departments. You can't expect placement if you belong to other departments, there is a placement for the other departments but very less. Campus placement starts in 3rd year itself. They have special classes for Aptitude skills and interview preparation GD and necessary preparations for job placement opportunities. 90% of students from CSE and IT get placed. The average package is 7.5 LPA you can expect a minimum of 3.5 LPA. If you are willing to go for higher studies you can contact the international relation office they have good relations with other universities abroad, they have students exchange programs, research scholarships etc if you are not planning to seat in placement. I plan for higher studies and research after my Btech.

Best place ever visited. My Sweet College.

Placement Experience:

The placements in my college is very good and top companies hire students across every branch with a good amount of package. At the end of 3rd year every student is elegible for the placements in college. About 20 to 25 companies visited for campus hiring and approximately 700 offers were given across the college from every branch. 60 percentage of students got placed in the campus hiring program. Highest package is 24 LPA and the aveyis 5LPA. My plan is to get into a good MNC company which is related to Aerospace technology.
