What Students Say

Likes

Discipline, cleanliness of campus, competitions, events

Dislikes

small campus, fine for short attendance.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

The curriculum is related to science and technology that's why I chose this course. The curriculum prepares us to learn and develop new technology and the curriculum also helps in further studies. The time for the exam is 3 hours which is okay and the difficulty level is moderate.

Class Size: 40Course Fees: INR 40000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The full course fee is around 40000 and there is also a fine for short attendance. There are scholarships for SC candidates and financially poor candidates. I have not undertaken any campus employment.

Campus Life

3.5

A youth festival is held every year on the College campus and There are various events and programs held on special days. Every department conducts its particular events and programs. A sports meet is conducted every year. There is a wide range of books, magazines, and journals. e-books are also available. Classrooms have digital boards, projectors, etc.

Admission

There is no exam for this course Admission is based on 12th class marks of respective subjects. Application forms, application fees, and apparently dates are available on the Higher education Haryana site or the Kurukshetra University site.

Faculty

3.5

1 faculty teaches a maximum of 40 students. Sometimes students may be less. Most of the faculties are PhDs and all are with high qualifications. We can interact with teachers in college time and even call and Whatsapp, If we have a doubt or any other problem related to studies, campus or any event, etc.

Great Career Opportunities

Likes

The campus is very open and well structured
It has spacious classrooms and great auditoriums
The labs and research labs are constructed exceptionally well

Dislikes

Some classrooms don't have projectors and smart boards
Hostel mess food isn't exactly great, only few canteens provide actual tasty food
The university's clubs aren't given many opportunities to put on events and are handled very strictly

Placement Experience:

The last year of your course is for internships and placements and Amity University greatly helps out in both areas the highest package is 5 LPA from only the bachelors degree. There are many companies that visit like Amul, Yakult and Mother Dairy etc. The university makes sure that every student in the batch is placed and has placement cells to help them out

The better choice for bachelor's degree

Likes

I like the infrastructure of the campus which makes everything seem flawless and easy going.
The faculty is very friendly and understanding which makes it easy to learn from them.
The campus events make the curriculum interesting.

Dislikes

I don't very much like the food from the campus, it offers variation but the taste almost stays the same.
There's no particular uniform which makes it harder to dress Nicely on daily basis.
I sometimes don't like to change blocks for the labs as all the labs are in a seperate block.

Placement Experience:

The students are allowed to apply for campus placements after completing their bachelor's. There are several companies offering lab workers position and forensic analysts posts. I'm planning on Master's degree form amity after completing bachelor's for higher education.
