- The teaching staff is so qualified and deserving. It feels as if they teach with all their heart. The environment amd ragging free campus is a plus point of this college.
- The well built libraries and computer rooms are such a great attraction for anyone who visits here . The kind of environment they provide for studying is just recommendable
Dislikes
- Sometimes there are fights inside college and it creates a ruckus all over
- The outsiders sometimes also sneak inside which is a negative point of this college
Course Curriculum Overview :
The course curriculum i must say is very much effective and easy going for students to understand and learn . The kind of co curricular activities that are held they give so much confidence and power its just amazing . The teaching method are quite good infact more and more advancements are going on with time . Its quite easy to handle both exams and curriculars and students can easily excel in both
Internships Opportunities :
It depends one the stream also. In science stream there are so many chances and opportunities to go for internships and have a life worth living. You can write research papers and also work under labs. Forensic science students went for a month in an internship. It was free they were not paid anything but the amount of knowledge and experience they gained is much more than anything else . Similarly other' departments also offer internships
Fees and Financial Aid :
Firstly the course that i chose it's not that much costly its easily affordable and like i gave nearly 14000 per year even lesser i guess 12000 something. Also the fees may increase a bit ever year but not too much and you can pay semester wide and yearly too. All-over everything is very nice including the teaching and non teaching staff. SC/ ST students can avail scholarship for themselves. There is one more thing like the fees depends on the course you take. Students who chose Bachelor's in biotechnology they used to pay 16000 per year. Along with that there were various merit base scholarships students can have benefit from them too. The cut off is generally higher for general category students and sc/st students can easily get a set in 3rd or 4th round. There are no such extra charges for anything everything is included in this fees . The semester fees that students pay it includes the registration fees, tution fees, lab charges, admission fees and development fees. If the student opt for some other value added courses they have to pay extra and that too only 400-500 rupees. The teaching staff is so well qualified and deserving. This college is Naac accredited A+ rating. The infrastructure and course structure is bery well designed. More and more students should enrolll and see what wonders dyal singh can do.
Campus Life :
The campus is quite nice and attractive. I am in love with the botanical garden and science park . The most important fest that is the dewan anand quiz is held every year and students of various colleges come here for it. Other than this talent shows, quizzes, debates, slogan and poster making trips Nss camps, red cross societies amd many more . Prakriti the eco club is also a very attractive part of this college as their activities are soo fun to take part. Sports day is most awaited. Students build confidence because of these
Admission :
I didn't apply much but yes i applied for government college and dav college in karnal but i found dyal singh the best one in karnal with a rating of A+ grade from Naac. Earlier I wasn't very much sure of it but now it feels this was really a good choice as the faculty the environment the course everything is so superb i started enjoyed. I didn't want to leave my home town so I applied through the online hse portal and i got my name in the first merit list . After that i submitted my documents and all the requirements. I personally recommend this college.
Faculty :
The faculty is very good . Normally there are 50-60 students in each class and one teacherin each class. Teachers are quite interactive with the students and friendly too. I liked the zoology department as its something that is of my interest. There is no such thing as disliking any faculty. All the teachers are very hardworking and worthy. Exams are held every semester and mostly the questions are repeated from previous years and the level of exam is quite moderate. On a scale of 50 nearly 1-2 students fail otherwise its fine
Night Life :
Yes there are various cafeterias and parks and mivie halls to roam around. The nightl life is quite enjoyable with friends. You can visit model town and trade fairs in sec 12 they are soo much fun . It generally safe till 12 but after it is advisable to return back to ur homes or hostels or pg.
