Course Curriculum Overview :
Course curriculum is quite chill like there is no pressure to study. One can even fail most subjects and still get promoted to the next year. This has given rise to the usage of intoxicants among students for recreational purposes.
Internships Opportunities :
Project manager District manager In companies like Google Microsoft There are German companies also like Mercedes, BMW etc Many people get placed in ed tech companies like Byjus physics wallah One of the biggest coaching institutes like Bansal is run by Iit Bhu alum
Placement Experience :
Quite high placements are held every year. All the major companies like google microsoft apple tata and several other companies come for on campus placement. Almost all gets places apart from those who choose not to sit in the placements
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
There is scholarships available for students falling under basic economic criteria. Also the general fees is roughly 8 lakhs for a 4 year course in btech. The fees for sc,sts,obcs and ews is thereof less than that.
Campus Life :
There are three major fests Kashiyatra: it is the cultural and also the Biggest fest held in the whole of bhu Technex: it is the annual tech fest Spardha: it is the annual sports fest. FMC weekend though not a fest is a weekend organized by the film and media club.
Hostel Facilities :
Rooms are generally small and are even 2-3 seater. Mess and the meal quality is surprisingly good . Some people prefer to stay near Hyderabad gate in flats otherwise iit bhu hostels are the most fun place to live in.
Admission :
The admission to iit bhu just like all other iits is done through jee advanced exam held by iits group. Prior to that jee mains is given to students as a screening test for the iits. The tests syllabus is quite large which can be reduced.
Faculty :
The faculty is quite old and there is no spark left in the faculty . The student to faculty ratio is really high and the focus on studies during the classes is very less. Infact only few students come to study else come just for the attendance.
