Course Curriculum Overview

4

The course curriculum is really good because we comes under the CBME "Competency based medicine education" curriculum. So we have parallel learning of all 19 subjects. We've postings from the second year itself which helps to see cases in person.

Internships Opportunities

3.5

You can do your internship after you pass the final year exam. The duration of this internship course is 1 year in which you will be posted to all the department so that you can get well oriented to the clinical setup. You can learn various clinical skills and how to manage the patient load in your internship period.

Fees and Financial Aid

The first year fee is around 13000. Second year fee is around 7000 . Third year fee is around 6000 and the Final year fee is around 5000. The hostel fee comes around 4000 per month including the mess fees and electricity expenses.

Campus Life

4

The campus life is really good. We have really good air conditioned classrooms which can hold 300 students, huge playground, basketball court, volleyball court, badminton court, gymnasium and the surrounding areas are really nice. We have good availability of restaurants, hotel, beach, park and the bus availability which interconnects you to the city centre and main public spots

Hostel Facilities

3.5

Hostel facility is really good. You will get a really good mess and the food is also decent. The hostel fees comes around 4500 per month and the hostel is not so far away from all the departments so you can easily reach out anywhere anytime

Admission

The admission to this medical college is based on your NEET score .When I joined this college the neet cut off was 595 marks for general category but now the cut off increased due to the easy neet exam pattern after the NTA took it over. You can get this college if your all India rank is under 9000. I joined this college using all India quata which is 15% of all the seats available. The thing I didn't like about the admission was that the all India quata students need to go to Chennai in order to verify their documents.

Faculty

4

The Faculty are really good. The have there speciality and super speciality degrees which make them competent. The teaching is also up to the mark. We can contact the faculty anytime we wish . We have separate official WhatsApp groups with faculties to convey official informations .

Course Curriculum Overview:

the course is very challenging obviously as we're studying to become doctors. it could've been better by increasing the duration of the course. our first year/ semester instead of it being for 12 months was only of 9-10 months so our portions are being pushed a little. it happened due the scam etc around neet and our course start date was pushed. the course could be made easier by increasing the duration of the course. we have exams every week which does make it easier to keep up with the portions but makes it too stressful for us. maybe instead of keeping exams on monday they could change it to saturday so we can relax and be free on sundays.

Placement Experience:

The students in their internship will get around 35000 per month excluding their mess fees, they have the option to opt out of the mess. And once they finish their internship they had to do two years bond in places where the colleges allot them and the salary for those two years will be decided by the place the person goes and itll be definitely more than what they get during internship.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Being a doctor, I can help people a lot. There is a lot to study and knowing the human body, to cure disease, and much more is a great experience. The curriculum prepares me to do great in my future endeavors. The thing I think they lack is a bit more clinical exposure for all students separately. Teaching methods are all good. They conduct exams after each important section, they teach. Around 6-7, internal exams are kept.
