Course Curriculum Overview :
The specific part of the curriculum that piqued my interest was the fact that it is 70% practical and just 30% theory. and I have always had an interest in the base subjects required to pursue this course
Internships Opportunities :
As mentioned earlier everyone needs to work as an intern after every year for 8 weeks minimum to pass and move on to the next academic year. The average stipend for us is roughly 8-15k for 2 months (taxes included)
Placement Experience :
We are eligible for placements from second year as we have to compulsorily work as an intern for 2 months after every academic year as part of the passing criteria. The reason for this is the fact that there is no real use in interning at a full fledged architecture firm in the first year itself
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The course fee is 2.1L per annum, and increases by 10,000 every year. The fee is to be paid in 2 instalments, one after every semester. Total 10 semesters, 5 years. There are multiple financial aids available for students to choose from as well
Campus Life :
Personally i have minimal involvement in clubs, due to the workload of my course and the time it requires to be up to date with. However there are many various options for students who r interested in almost every field.
Hostel Facilities :
The hostel facility could do with some work. The rooms are nice and spacious but the food isn't the best quality and could use an upgrade, the fee charged for the same is also a little higher than expected
Admission :
eligibility criteria: pass in 10th and 12th boards with subjects: Physics, Chemistry, Maths compulsory entrance exam: NATA 70/200 minimum OR jee paper 2 admission process: i physically went to the college to submit all my necessary documents and give an interview.
Faculty :
the faculty to student ratio is about 1:12 which is a perfect number in my opinion the faculty approaches the professional course of architecture with a more hands on, practical method, instead of focusing on just theory, which is what will prepare us for the real world
