- Faculties are good in nature. They are helpful.They help in studying in every subject.
Dislikes
- Class timing is about 6 hrs.Training and placement class is also for 4 hrs .
- Total 10 hrs class . Question banks are not available for every subjects.
Course Curriculum Overview :
In computer science the curriculum is good . They taught every programming languages such as C, Java, Python.Also web development.Course structure is approximately good . Exam timing is 3 hrs for 70 marks questions.
Internships Opportunities :
Lagazon provides internship and the role offered by them are web development, software development,app development etc.They also provide stipend according to your work. College also provide internship in Summer.Many web projects, machine learning projects etc many projects are provided by them.
Placement Experience :
From 6 semester students become eligible for campus placement.Tech Mahindra offers about 250 students. Accenture,Yes Bank,tavarna ,zscaler etc many companies came for placement drive. Highest package is 29 lakhs by tvarna and average package is 4.5 lakhs.95 percentage of students are placed. My plan is to do Mtech after btech.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Institute increase fee every year for new batch approx 30000.Now complete cost of my is 9-10 lakhs. 225000 per year fees for computer science and Scholarship is provided by college and state government scholarship is also provided to students of odisha state only.
Campus Life :
Shrujan is the annual fest organised in every year and Avyakt is the technical fest organised in every year. All types of books are available in the library.You can access all the books by showing your college I'd card. Bench and desks with white and green board , about 6-8 fans, one projector available in every classroom. Students can also do extracurricular activities such as basketball, swimming, cricket, gymnastics, kabbadi,kho-kho etc. Students runs social groups or clubs like gdsc,pdcs,webeye etc they provide extra knowledge on different fields.These clubs are run by seniors.
Hostel Facilities :
Seperate almirahs for every students. separate bad for every students. Common Bathroom with 24 hrs water for 2-3 students . Quality of meals is very good.They provide idli, dosa, Poha, uttapam, Vada , Puri in breakfast, Chiken,eggs , fish, soyabean ,salad papad ,rice, roti and green Vegetables in lunch and in dinner they provide rice(fried, pulao ,veg biryani,lemon etc)roti and green Vegetables.You can take rented room or PG in the loacality with 4-5 thousands per month .
Admission :
You can take admission by giving college exam taken online. You can find the application form from their website giet.edu.in.You can also contact with University from website. Difficulty levels of exam is average. Simple questions from physics chemistry and maths from class 11 and 12.
Faculty :
All facilities are having PhD and M tech degree.The faculty to students ratio is 1/4 1 faculty for 4 students.They try to teach with latest techniques like projector and they provides many questions about the topics discussed in the class.I fully understand what they taught.
