In central university of Karnataka every week we can enjoy the fest of different departments.

Dislikes

I don't like the food as they most of the time serve south Indian food like itali , dhosa and sambhar but I am north indian that's why I don't like .
I don't like the management system of the university bcz somewhere they are not spending the funded money on the university.

Course Curriculum Overview :

I am pursuing b.tech in ECE so the course curriculum is based on the industry level but I think they need to update the syllabus according to coming future industry. Being an ECE engineer I am learning also learning coding and many more for the requirements of the industry. In 1st and 3rd semester i learnt c, c++ and python. Theses are the main subject of these semester.

Class Size : 40Course Fees : INR 72000 per year

Internships Opportunities :

My college helps students to get internship in Wipro, Hcl , and many more companies, but most of the students they get the internship by their own efforts and hard work. In 2024 most of the students of engineering got the internship in IITs , Nits , Drdo and ISRO organisation.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

This university doesn't provide any kind of scholarship but Karnataka students get 100% scholarship, but if you are from other states they will not provide any kind of scholarship. If you want to take education loan , they will help you. Fees structure is too high. They increased fees from 67000 to 72000. They are charging more in comparison of other central university.

Campus Life :

My college is going on awesome and amazing. In this university you will enjoy fest of different departments in every week, in which you will get opportunity to show your talent like dance, singing, acting and painting many more. There are four clubs - coding, singing, dancing and sports club. There is central library in cuk where you can get every book. You can stay in library till 9pm to study. There is a big sports ground for outdoor games and mp hall for indoor games . A big and prestigious fest takes place in every year , it is called Ankur fest in which many competition takes place like sports, cultural and coding competition. You will meet here different people of different states, you will be able to learn many languages . In cuk there is a sunset view point which looks very beautiful and it is most attractive place. Hostel Facilities :

I have opted hostel, hostel facility is very good. There are four students in each room . There is seperate table , almirah for each student. Hostel faculty are good and supportive. There is health centre for the students. There is 100 % accomodation for the students. The food quality is good. If you want to get hostel, you will have to mention it during counseling process. Hostel is free for sc and at students. For other category students they charge 1200Rs per month. There are 7 boys hostel and 6 girls hostel. Each hostel is occupied with wifi routers and hot water is available almost all the time. Each hostel is spacious and has an open area where students can gather.

Hostel Fee : INR 144000 per year

Admission :

I got admission through cuet but a Jee aspirants can also get admission. They provide admission based on the cuet and jee- mains score card. I got admission in 2023 and the cut - off was 223 cuet marks . Jee - mains cutoff was 78 percentile. There is reservation for sc, and st students.

Faculty :

Most of the faculty are having phd degree and few of them are from IITs and nits. They teach very nice and explain the things in such a way that a weak student can understand. Most of the faculty teach amazing but few of them even don't know how to teach students, how to explain the things thats6why i don't like those faculty. They are supportive and caring teacher if something happens to any student they always stand first.

Life at BIT

Placement Experience:

Placements are pretty good.But unfortunately we belonged to the 2024 batch where the job market was tough worldwide.So some people didnt get placed,some opting for higher studies(including me).Students become eligible for placements from 7th semester and for internships from 6th semester.The highest package offered was by F5 which was around 22LPA.The average package is around 4-5lpa.

My experience of JSSATE

Placement Experience:

Placement happen in our college after the 6th semester and and it goes on till the 8th semester. The college placements happen every year. This year the highest package received was for 25 lakhs and the average package is of 4 lakhs. The companies that visited our college are Accenture, Infosys,Cognizant, Tech Mahindra,juspay etc. More number of students get placed in computer related cources. This year there were less placements due to less job opportunities in market

Time is very much precious

Placement Experience:

The placements are quite good . Placement for computer science branch is very nice. Average package all around branches is like 3.5 to 4.5 LPA. The highest package is around 27LPA. If we didn't get any placements means we need to develop more skills and attend and offline interview and get placed.

Nice college

Placement Experience:

The student is eligible from the 6th sem for placement. Due to the global recession, there were some companies that did not come this year. The highest company that cam3 was for 36 lpa. The average package is mostly 7 lpa. This year almost all the students got placed in Tull they finished their final year.

Want to experience it life before college

Placement Experience:

From 4th sem students are eligible for campus placements. Offers made very around 990 students placed were 980 out of 1200. The highest package is 32 in CS/IS .25 in EC . and about 19.8 for 11 students. The percentage goes around 92 to 93.
