The teaching methods are very comprehensive and comfortable for any student wanting to get hands on experience at film making and to get an idea of how a real set works and how a film is made in its lieu and process of everything to pre production to post production is taught at XIC

Internships Opportunities

3.5

The Internships were not offered by the college however i got several internships with the brand name of XIC and several companies recognised my affiliation with Xaviers Institute of Communication and its bagged me many internships

Placement Experience

3.5

The college doesn't really privide any placements for a film course, however top brands and companies visit the campus for other courses with generous packages and profiles. The percentage of students getting place is a near 98% percent which the institute boasts of

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure is quite high as it ranges as much ad 400000 lakhs which involves various fees and charges including the educational fees, however the cost of tution fees and increases drastically when its coupled with various miscellaneous charges which should be revised in my opinion

Campus Life

5

The college organises various fests im accordance with various courses. Each course has their own fests and overall there are around 5-6 fests in the college with which the beautiful gothic architecture of the college is the landmark attraction as far as architecture is concerned. There is no other college that comes close while architecture is considered

Admission

The admissions depend solely on an entrance test for which anybody is eligible post their graduation. The test involves basic quantitative anf qualitiative assessments. The application fees is 3000 rs and the test comprises over 3 hours. The test is quite difficult and requires an overall awareness of current affairs and subject centric information.

Faculty

4

The faculty at XIC is one of the best in any Media Institution. The faculty consisted of top film industry professionals with first hand experience and teaching abilities. The faculty to student ratio is highly comfortable which fosters a one on one relationship between the faculty and students, which rise above the traditional student teached protocols to a more relaxed and friendly relation when it comes to clearing doubts or communicating.
