- Campus Life, since we have campus of around 650 acres you have a lot of space to do every crazy thing u ever wanted to do.
- Acadmic pressure is also not too much like u can maintain a decent cgpa if you are investing few hrs daily
Dislikes
- Sport facilities and infrastructure needs to be improved
Course Curriculum Overview :
The curriculum for all NITs are same almost, It's detailed but not the latest edition , which i personally think doesn't help us that much, because the skills which we need for our interns , we study those on our own, a bit different from the course of college . but if we sincerely study thoroughly all the courses we'll be prepared with very much perfection in our core fields
Internships Opportunities :
You get internships from 3rd year onwards, The TPO recruits student from each branch and approach all the company . I haven't worked in any of the intern yet , we'll start from the next year . There are rules the one who get intern can't sit for further rounds
Placement Experience :
We have good placement , around 90% were placed this year of my department with avg lpa of 10-12 lakhs , but if u are a core branch student and wish to continue coding , then u should go for cse or ece as most of the college won't allow core branches for IT interns
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Tution fees For income 5lakh and above 141000 For 1-5 lakhs it's around 70,000 For Below 1 lakhs its 0 Apart from these The hostel fees for all is 23,500 and Mess fees of my hostel is 24000 Students available various scholarships like MMVY etc You can also work on various projects under professor of your fields and stipend etc depends over the project you are working on.
Campus Life :
Campus Life is an exciting experience here , we have 2 major fest E-Summit (we organise EDM nights and invite performers like mithoon) and Techno fest , we also have various other fest like Maffick ( our cultural fest) ,so basically u get around one fest in every one or 2 month an various sub event and minor events throughout semesters , which are organised by student running bodies like E-Cell , Roobaroo, Robotics , Tooryanad , IEEE etc. we have a spacious well equipped sports complex where you can play badminton ,TT, Football , Cricket .
Hostel Facilities :
We have 2 girls hostel (H-7 & H-12) ,H-12 is the new one and it has very perfect infrastrurcture while H-7 is the older one so it's too spacious and also can the rooms of D block are too spacious .. more like a 1BHK flat , girls of alternate year reside in these hostels . Apart from this we have 5+ boys hostel . We have (H-7) best mess I would say, with 4 meals a day. Rooms are either 2 seater or 3 seater and you are given bed study slabs cupboard and attach washrooms.
Admission :
It was via jee mains , you need minimum 95 percentil to get this college and for cse it's 98-99 percentile for general category , there is 50% state quota so you will meet alot of guys from Bhopal or MP itself .In college, we have 3 exams in one sem ( minu test, mid exam and end exam) The admission process was fair and overall the procedure was okayish
Faculty :
16:1 ,we have good and active faculties ,Some of them are way too strict and will set papers tougher than the known exams of India But they are good at teaching as well So it's basically if you are sincere in classes you can score decent But you need to be the regular student which isnt a easy task at all. Apart from this, the students who are into researches and are working on projects they get all kind of help and sometimes funds as well.
