Course Curriculum Overview :

The course curriculum is slightly out of date but all in all, it is as good as any Institute of National Importance can have. Exams are conducted twice a semester alongside some class tests and assignments whose difficulties are somewhat moderate

Class Size : 63Course Fees : INR 68500 per year

Internships Opportunities :

There are internship opportunities in the college, ranging from Google and Microsoft to Vedanta and Texas instruments. It really varies from department to department and also on the skills and grades of the individual

Placement Experience :

From the seventh semester, students become eligible for in campus placements, I don't have the exact statement of offers and companies however in my department, the average placement is 14.5 lakh per annum in 2024

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Tuition fees are 68.5k per semester here and as far as I am aware, there are no incidents of fee hikes. There are also scholarships available to students of low household income or of lower castes and also for foreign nationals coming from nepal and Bhutan

Campus Life :

Every department hosts their own technical fests,mine hosts "vaidyutak".These fests are hosted from January till April. In April, the largest of them is the cultural fest of the Institute which is renowned as the oldest fest of this nation, being held from 1923, named " REBECA"

Hostel Facilities :

Hostel facility is as good as it gets, there are 3 hostels a first year can expect to get. All hostels/halls being named after a former principal/chancellor of this college. The food here is decent and fees are quite affordable

Hostel Fee : INR 25500 per year

Admission :

I took admission in this college through the JEE mains examinations, I scored 98.39 percentile to get here. The eligibility criteria is to be 12th pass with over 75 percent or top 20 percentile of your board and to score minimum 98 percentile in JEE mains exam

Faculty :

Our department consists of 60 students and there are around 10 professors that teach us 5 subjects in our second year, the professors are very friendly and easy to approach. They are also some of the most qualified professors graduating from IITs and other top tier institutions

Review on Guru Nanak Institute of Technology from one year of college experience

Placement Experience:

Recession is going on since last few years and being a private college obviously that has affected placements in our college also. The current situation of placement is not really good. Among students from all branches which each may have like 150 students, only 20 something got placed on campus. It is said that companies like TCS, Capegemini, Wipro, Amazon, Zscaler etc comes to campus for hiring but most just come and don't hire. This year highest package was 26.5 lakhs by only 2 students from our department, CSE.

After 6 semester you will be eligible for on campus placement. But you can get internship offers earlier. The companies visited last year are Deltax, TCS research, zscalar, yellow class. The placement data of this college can be found on its site and if you work hard from your side the college will definitely bring in the companies and you will be placed depending on your skills.
