- The placement statistics of this college are very good ; even more than many IIITs, NITs and even some IITs. As evident by 2024 placement statistics ; the avg package is 21LPA overall and highest is 65LPA (domestic) with 85% placements.
- Prominent Recruiters like Google, Microsoft, Meta, Adobe, Goldman Sachs, Amazon, D.E. Shaw, Morgan Stanley and many more ; over 100+ companies have recruited from our college.
Dislikes
- Infrastructure is not well maintained ; could have been more better that could have increased the beauty of the campus.
- The college culture and innovations are not that good. Also few important clubs like robotics club and all are not there in the college.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The curriculum is well balanced and in my course it's more towards the tech stack and IT sector and so should it be ; as i am from Information Technology branch. However the course structure is quite hectic here ; like from 9AM to 6PM onwards the classes are there ; with few breaks based on the schedule. The exams schedule is : Quiz 1 -> Minors(Midsem) ->Quiz 2-> Majors (End Sem)
Internships Opportunities :
In college the internship opportunities under faculties are not that good ; like working under some professor and getting stipend is not usual and even if they give ; it will be less. So try to find internship on your own by online platforms like LinkedIn or any other way. However many companies also come here to give Internship opportunities and for sure they are very good ; and the stipend they offers is great too.
Placement Experience :
From 7th semester onwards the students become eligible to sit in Campus Placements however internships are evergoing in College. Around 100+ companies have visited the college and made recruitements from the college. Big companies like Google, Meta, Adobe, Microsoft, Morgan Stanley, D.E. Shaw, Goldman Sachs, Intuit, Cred, Samsung, Walmart and many more prominent recruiters are there.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The fee structure is given on the site itself. Since the institute is Government institute hence the fees is minimal that is just 1.4 Lacs per semester for General and OBC category while the tution fee is exempted for reserved students from SC/ST category. There is no fee waiver at all based on income criteria. However, different scholarships are available here like the state government scholarships, McM, and special scholarships for girls.
Campus Life :
Aurora and Infotsav are the main Annual and technical fests of our college which are the greatest fests of central india too ; they takes place for around 3 days which takes a preparation time of about3-4 months. The Library or LRC(Learning Resource Center) is very huge with more 1lac books in the library along with that the LRC have huge space for self study and is well equipped with Air Conditioners 24*7 and Unlimited WiFi. The classrooms are well maintained and air conditioned and the classrooms can accommodate around 150-200 students Various Sports Activities are provided in the campus with a huge sports complex The social media handles of all the clubs are well managed in the college
Hostel Facilities :
There are 5 boys hostel and 1 Girls Hostel in total in the campus which are well managed. BOYS HOSTEL : Coming to the room occupancy ; the rooms are single seater usually ; but in first year students either gets 3 seater or 4 seater rooms ; but the rooms are very good in size ; like the sharing rooms are quite large and they are also new ; like The Satpura hostel was started just 1 year ago and IVH hostel was started just 2 years ago. Both these hostel are very good and large in size. In 2nd Year ; the rooms are either Single seater or double seater ; and they are alloted on the basis of CG that the students score in first semester. From 3rd year onwards ; the room are single seater only. GIRLS HOSTEL : All the rooms are single seater and very spacious. The Girls hostel are very secure and are very well maintained. Mess food is quite ok ok ; edible enough The hostel registration process is very simple and only a single form is to be filled for that.
Admission :
Eligibility : JEE mains (As of now ; around 99 percentile is sufficient for general category) the admission is done through JOSAA counselling. The application dates and all other necessary information is given on the website of JOSAA. Reservation benifits are there for this college like for EWS, SC, ST and girls quota. I am in IMT branch and the cutoff for that was somewhere around AIR rank 15k in JEE mains.
Faculty :
The Faculties are well qualified from different prestigous colleges like IITs but they are not that efficient to deliver the content to the students and teaching them. Even sometimes they gets confused in the content. Generally all the faculities comes to the classroom ; opens slides and simply read the. So the student's understanding is not good in that. Faculty to student ratio is very good in this college ; because this college have only few seats (300) for the students. professors are easily approachable ; anyone can contact and approach them any time ; either after the class or simply going to their respective offices in their free time.
