My overall experience with Fergusson college was extremely good

Dislikes

Nothing to dislike tye collge everything is fine
But should increase the timings of library
And also for hostel in and out timings facilities should be provided

Overall curriculum was good and talking about the area of improvement timings of lectures should be changed as it impacts on students tends to hectic schedule teaching is good but need to go bit slow Exams are moderate to difficult but teachers teaching made it easy to pass the exam with good marks

From sem 5 of third year student is eligible for campus placements but a criteria with no current backlog Many companies like fractal analyst,Infosys, TCS and etc visited and offered the placement to many of the students Highest package of this year was 7 Lpa

For general category fee is 44000 and it varies from categories to categories and mahadbt scholarship can be availed if applicable there are various activities a student can be a coordinator of like muktchand college fest etc but there is stipend will be provided to them

Fergusson College is famous for it's cultural aspects it conduct various programs like mukchand, College fest,sports activities and NCC activities Talking about library had an good infrastructure consists of thousands of books and ebooks PC are available had an different lab for it College had an good infrastructure for sports have 900 meters Ground and a gymkhana provides good facility for sports students and NCC students too

Bsc admission are done on merit basis of 12th result you can find an registration link on official website as it is online process to fill the form Admission process is online type and easier but néed to improve the website to work efficiently

Faculty

Each and ever faculty provides one to one interaction and doubt clearing session you can clear your doubts anytime. Mostly all of the teacher are highly educated and they teaches the students as a friend

I applied to only 2 colleges as my first preference was fergusson. So I only appied to fergusson and garware college. I got selected there too but as I got selected at fergusson while I was in dilemma whether to pay fees of garware or not , I decided to give fergusson a chance. So for admission process, they took an entrance exam for which we had to pay Rs. 800/- as processng fees of application and exam. So after giving exam the scorelist came and on the basis of that cutoff was decided for various categories.
