Dislikes

  • but I have heard that the other are a bit cramped. The library is not open 24x7. This is something which inconveniences me personally a lot. The locality where the university is located is ot so good so people who come from big cities have problem ad

Course Curriculum Overview :

The field of electronics interests me a lot. The advancements in the Internet of Things branch and drones are quite impressive and I believe Electronic engineering has very good scope in the future. The curriculum should include more practical and industry like parts.

Placement Experience :

From the sixth semester students become eligible to sit in the in the placement interviews. Companies like Infosys, TCS, Bharat Hardware come to MMMUT. The highest package is 51 lakhs per annum and the average package is 7 lakhs per annum. 80% students get placed in electronics and communication engineering. 60% students get placed overall.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The mess fees, hostel fees and the tuition fees is all quite affordable. the mess fees is 18,000. the hostel fees is 24,000. The tuition for the first year is 92,000. There are scholarships available for students in need.

Campus Life :

The annuals fests are Heats, TechSrijan, Abhudaya and Arthavya. The are events going on every other week. All the coursebooks are available in the library. Many other magazines and journals are also available. The classrooms are all equipped with projectors and a system. Aayaas is the sports fest of the university. It is organized in the CSA grounds on the Shahed Bandhu Singh Stadium. There are many societies and clubs and boads- E cell. University innovation cell, the editorial board, the cultural synod, music club, dance club. fine arts club, departmental societies.

Hostel Facilities :

The room is average sized with small cupboards. The mess has a variety of food but there is too much potato. The hostel and mess are pretty affordable. There is a big problem of water shortage in the hostel. the bathrooms are messy and smelly many times.

Admission :

The admission happens through Jee Mains Examination. The counselling process starts when the Josaa starts. You have to go to the mmmut counselling website then fill the form. According to your percentile in JEE Mains you will be given admission.

Faculty :

The faculty to students ratio is high which it usually is in colleges. I compare it with my school so I may be a bit off. It depends on that particular faculty as well. Some are really passionate about teaching and are very approchable whereas on the other hand others are only there to complete their job. Some teachers are so very good that they make even the most difficult of concepts seem easy. They ae very approchable and always ready to help us. Others are rude amd quite inapprochable. The teachers are all well versed in their subjects and are very knowledgable. They are always encouraging us to do our best.

Other Applied Colleges

Harcourt Butler Technological University - [HBTU] | Bachelor of Technology [B.Tech] (Food Technology)

I did not get my desired branch.

Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Petroleum Technology - [RGIPT] | Bachelor of Technology [B.Tech] (Electronics Engineering)

It was away from home.

From the 6th semester, students can start getting placement if they had done an internship with any company. Otherwise, in the 7th and 8th semesters, most of the students get the placement. Many renowned companies come and offer jobs in college. About 70 percent of the students get the placement.

Placement Experience:

More specifically if I am talking about placement is that if you want to get good placements in dei that you must maintain your sgpa at least 8 points for you to appear in the placement cell. There are many companies visited in college like torrent power for electrical branch and other for their respective branches. Around 60% of students get their placements through college and it also depends on students' ability and skills. Since I am in the 4th semester so yes from 3rd year students get their training or internship through college to students with good grades. So you must have to maintain at least 8 sgpa for better placements.

The placements of the college have been great so far. All the major companies and tech giants like Google, Microsoft, Adobe, AWS, DELL, etc came for placements this year. The average package this year for BTECH students was 8.6 lakhs per annum. Also, the highest package so far has been 44 lakhs p.a. Almost all students are placed with good packages so it is an ideal choice to choose Bennett University for higher education.

Placements are good in GCET, Although they vary from time to time. For placements, students are eligible from the 7th Sem. Companies like Direct-I, Samsung, Amazon, Infosys, Wipro, Cognizant, TCS, etc. all visited the campus. The highest package I now am 21LPA buy it can be more. And except recession 60-70%, people are placed. Rest it all depends on students as well.
