- NHCE has one of the best auditoriums with a seating capacity of almost 1200 students, it is best suited to host college events and guest lectures.
- For those who are foodie don't have to step outside as our 11 acre campus has 4 canteens and all of them serves different delicacies.
Dislikes
- The indoor sports stadium is always full and there are some seniors who gets hold of it first and they never leave their spot so it is difficult to find a spot to play.
Course Curriculum Overview :
Data Science has a combination of quite a few engineering science and the mechanics of our course is such that we are made thoroughly professional engineers. For that our college has regular classes and practical sessions and a very tough attendance system in place. If something can change for me, it should be the 85% compulsory attendance as sometimes it becomes impossible to attain that numbers
Placement Experience :
Placements are just too good as be it any department students here who have passed all semesters don't even have to worry a bit as they are well and truly placed from NHCE. The consumer giant Microsoft has been out top recruiters by hiring almost 20 odd engineers every year. Apart from that Dell, Google and others also see potential in us and offer jobs worth 6-8 lakhs easily.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Fees do increases every year but one good thing about NHCE is if you score above 9 CGPA, you get 15% scholarships and this is the best reward for students working hard. Similarly the college runs almost 20 odd scholarships programs and students can check out with the scholarships department on whether they are eligible for any as from sports to army to EWS, the college has almost every single scholarships available for the ones who are in dire need of it.
Campus Life :
From ethnic day to Deepotsav we have all traditional festivals celebrated at our campus. Along with that we have college fests like Sargam and Initium. For sports we have football, cricket and basketball facilities at our campus and students can play as and when they want.
Admission :
12th results and KCET is one way of getting here. However KCET results are out so their classes starts 2 months later while students who comes directly through management quota their classes starts a couple of months earlier. This is one thing which can be changed as it should be same for all I believe.
Faculty :
There are almost 10-12 engineering branches in our college and almost 1200 engineering students. To take care of that 1200 students there are 80 odd teachers. Hence ratio is 1:12 and it is a great ratio to have I guess. All are great in terms of teaching and their own qualifications as unless and until they are PhD holders, they will find it difficult to get a job in NHCE.
