- Academic Quality : Here at kiet we have very strong faculty and have diverse programs as per interest including ECE EEE ME .
- Campus Resources such as Libraries , Technology , Support services as ERP cell is always withstand to help you.
Dislikes
- The syllabus of first year which does not include much technical courses .
- Campus Size is about 18 acres which is even smaller than many schools . Students often get dissappointed seeing this size .
Course Curriculum Overview :
I have choosen the tech domain of CSE due to the fact that technology is eager to accumulate the entire market till 2027 . The teachers from the second year are very much focused on the placement issue. They organize regular interactive sessions on the basis of previous performance in the Lab. The areas include the Syllabus of the AKTU is very outdated which even restricts the college from making further changes. This is the most hectic part of the engineering here as we have the following exams before the main UE they are as Pre CT, CT 1, CT 2, and PUE. The exams here occur at a frequency of about every month, Which makes student difficult to manage their technical skills and academic results.
Internships Opportunities :
Internships are provided by TBI inside the KIET itself, The companies do visit for the internship but the number is minimal. The respective department focuses on the projects and required certifications for the internship the companies coming for the internship are Infosys, wipro, Amex, etc.
Placement Experience :
The placement as compared to other NCR colleges is obviously better but when you compare the actual stats with the shown one, There is a slight difference the average package is around 7 LPA and the highest this year is 60 LPA offered by American Express to 2 students. The percentage of students getting placed is around 95% and about 400 companies visited the campus like TCS, Accenture, The josh Group, etc.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The fee here is 138999 which is less than many Delhi NCR colleges like GL Bajaj and NIET, KIET provides much better ROI in terms of education and overall growth. I am a student of CSE(Fw) fee waiver seat, and admission to this course is a little tougher than the conventional course as the cutoff goes higher, In this course my tuition fees have been omitted by the institute. although for the conventional fee course, the total expenditure involves about 6 lakhs for the Btech course. Scholarships which are available for the students are- Scholarship by KIET For orphans Scholarship by UP Government *( 60,000)
Campus Life :
Campus Life here at kiet provides you a one step solution for the entertainment . EPOQUE is the annual fest of the college many famous stars such as Darshan Raval and Jubin Nautiyal Have visited the college for performing . The kiet has its own magazine and news letter publishing news and updates . The sports facilities at kiet are very good as KIET Has its own sports fest RANN which has many games inclusing Esports .
Hostel Facilities :
Hostel is available inside the college for boys and girls both , The hostel is clean and food is good when comapred to hostel standards , The registration process is like when you come for submitting fees you have to submit the hostel fees and book the seat . The condition for getting hostel in 2nd year is to maintain 85% aggregate attendance .
Admission :
The admission eligibility of the course is 10 + 2 for the direct entry for Btech and JEE Mains for admission through AKTU Counselling . My CSE FW was available for me at 65081 rank in JEE mains . Admission is only 1 time a year .
Faculty :
On coming to the student to faculty ratio . The class size is very small i.e it has capacity to accomodate 75 students . This give us freedom to ask doubts without any hassle . We have smart classes and smart board as well for interactive and demonstrative type of class. We have weekly mentorship session to ensure no stones are unturned by the Faculty side for the growth of student .
