Course Curriculum Overview :

I'm interested in electronics based field, so i have choosen this. I'm also interested in doing practicals for it. Such as soldering etc. Talking about the areas of improvement, give more importance to practcials especially on soldering

Class Size : 19Course Fees : INR 45000 per year

Internships Opportunities :

I didn't go for any internship till now. So I'm not familiar with it. Talking on projects. Every final student will be a having a main project and dep like cs and ece have a mini project paper on their 6th sem.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Tution fee is of 35000 and additional there is a 10000 out of which all activities such as arts, sports etc are included. Also the library fees are also included in it. Students can avail scholarship such as PMS, E grants etc

Campus Life :

Arts and sports are typically held of May month of every year. Library has a plenty of books and students can easily go through it if he/she has the library card. Students can be a Entrepreneur if he/she has an idea and if he/she wants to build it up as a company then they can contact IEDC department for more

Admission :

Eligibility of the course was based on rank in KEAM. I have got rank around 20k. And with this I have got ECE in CEM. All the necessary details will be provided by the Help desk members of CEM. Talking on exams there are 2 internal examinations, and after 3mnths there is university examination.

Faculty :

Good faculty members. Faculties have a good teaching skills. The lab assistants also have good technical skills. Even if we have a doubt in any of our subjects, they are ready to clear them at any time.

NIT Cailcut-The Good,Bad and the Ugly

Placement Experience:

Students can apply for campus placements by the beginning of the 4th year.High paying companies are attracted by the placement cell which offer good packages to the students. The average packages for the circuital branch are pretty high. Each year about 200 companies are invited. The highest package for Electrical and Electronics has gone upto 38LPA with average package of about 14LPA in the graduation year 2024.About 128 students had registered out of which 120 students were placed.The minimum salary offered was 5LPA.

Is engineering here worth it?

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible from 7th semester to sit for interviews. The pod.ai app helps us in making the resume and calculating a cgpa to appear for the intwrviews. The pod.ai registration fees is 500?. Companies such as nissan,infosys,commandtech,bimlabs,gulfasia etc has visited . And the highest package was 11 LPA and lowest was 3 LPA
