Mostly I liked college infrastructure that is so much greeny. Also, professors are so experienced
There are various facilities are present like KFC, Shopping complex, temple & restaurant etc.

Dislikes

Mostly disliked things are discipline in the college as well as hostel. Also, it is so far from the railway station. At night, there is no any proper transport system to go college.

Course Curriculum Overview :

I liked the course that I choose that is mechanical engineering. But, syllabus is not updated due to which I occur problem. College have to updated syllabus as per future. Difficulty of the exam is moderate. In the semester approx four times exam occur. Quizes 1 & 2. Minor & major exam.

Class Size : 60Course Fees : INR 100000 per year

Internships Opportunities :

It depends on you. You have to try on your behalf for the internship. You can contact training & Placement coordinator for the arrange internship. There is one project occur in two ways minor & major project.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Tuition fees per semester is 30000. So, Total fees after 4 year occur is 360000. Also, you got scholarship as per jee rank & mahindra scholarship program that occurs in ist year. Hostel fee are different.

Campus Life :

Some fests occur annually like technical fest(techfest), culture fest(madhuram). Techfest occurs in the month of April, cultural fest occurs in the month of October. Also, some occur activities occur like sports that depends on the organizer.

Hostel Facilities :

During ist year to 2nd year you triple sharing rooms. Topper will be get single sharing in 3rd year & 4th year & every student get single room in 4th year. Hostel fees per month is 500 & meal cost is 3000 per month. Wifi facilities are provided.

Hostel Fee : INR 42000 per year

Admission :

The eligibility of the course is through JEE Mains. You must be rank under 80000 for general & for SC/ST under 1,00,000. Exams are occur 4 Times in a semester like quiz 1 & 2. Minor & major exams. Difficulties level varies as per professor wise.

Faculty :

Professors are phd holder from various reputed institutes like IIT's, NIT's etc. Faculty to student ratio was good, it impacts for our personal growth etc. Easily we can interact with the teachers. Every professor have personal cabin & provide proper solution of the problem also treat as a parents.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I was doing bachelor of Technology in computer science. Starting from the classroom to the computer labs , everything is available and well maintained. You learn programming and languages with the help of faculty and for every student there is computer available with all equipments. In a week, there are 3 days of computer lab practice and 3 days for classwork. The professor tests and skills very often and if there is any inefficiency , he/she will help you to correct it. Placement Experience:

In- campus placement is not that good it is below average as they have taken way too many admissions their placements are not even to rely on they dont provide with good companies coming for selection average placement in CSE in 3-4 lpa they focus on theoretical knowledge more than the practical knowledge so no students are ready for the placement criterias and at last they fail as predicted

SLIET: A Modern Gurukul

Placement Experience:

From 7th sem for the degree and 6th for the diploma and 4th sem for the Mtech Students. Placements are about average and this year 2023 the placement ratio is growing faster and about 70 percent of the students from each branch got at least an average package. 20LPA is the highest in the history of SLIET offered by Microsoft. I have already been placed in HCL and Cognizant-like MNCs. So focus on the only job now.

My review

Placement Experience:

Placements are quite good in Chitkara. The placement procedure starts in the 6th semester of our college and goes until you are graduated (8th semester). Need to mention that Chitkara holds a record of 100% placement. Every student gets placed here. Companies offer anything between 3lpa - 12lpa. But you need to study a bit for getting placed. Note that college cannot force a company to recruit students. Companies recruit based on tests and interviews that they conduct. My plans after getting a degree will be to work for the company I've been placed in.
