  • The dress code for girls and boys. Its stupid because girls cannot wear anything revealing and ifnyou do science teachers will catch you and bodyshame you.

Course Curriculum Overview :

The course which I took that is journalism, its really good and I feel the teachers are very interactive. Our teachers criticize our reports and blogs in a way that tells us what changes are needed in our writing and skills.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

There is a management scholarship and midday meals schemes. Most of the courses will cost around 1 lakh including the karnataka fees and if u choose English, German or French as a language they'll take 15k more.

Campus Life :

There are more than 100 clubs which focus on different things and cultures. There is Hindi parishad for north indians, for north eastern they have another club and basically for different cultures they have different clubs.

Admission :

I just had to go through one round of interview where the teacher asked me basic questions about the politics and general knowledge. As a journalist I realized I needed to be up to date with all the news.

Faculty :

The teachers are very chill in my department, they are very understanding and opem tto whatever we have to say about anything. They give us the full freedom to express our feelings in blog posts or journalism assignments. In the international relations, the teachers are very helpful when it comes to daily life problems or even the studies. Overall, my experience has been great except the harrasment I went through and college authorities took 7 8 months to get it sorted which really impacted me bad.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Psychology course curriculum is great. It's interesting and informational and you also get practical learning Optional English i regret choosing because it's not what i expected it to be. There's a lot of reading to be done and you have to be regular. the teachers don't really do a good job of making the subject interesting. there's 2 sets of exams mid sem is 25 marks end sem is 60 difficulty level - easy-medium

Course Curriculum Overview:

I got a bachelor of arts degree in criminology, psychology and english optional. The branches of criminology and psychology are upcoming in India in the present time. Course taught is revelant and in present. It is regularly updated. I chose tge course mainly due to criminology. Various aspects of the subject is covered in 6 semesters such as forensic, ballistics, cyber, laws, victimology etc. They do take us on field visits. There is one mid sem exam and one final exam. There is record work as well as assignments given at regular interval. The difficulty level is medium.

Placement Experience:

The placement cell is very active in our college and it is headed by an associate professor. The students from the 1st to 6th semester are getting placed. Recently we had companies like Wipley, Optum, Toyota, Wipro, etc. The highest package is 7 lakh and the average package is around 3-4 lakh per year. I have planned to go for government jobs after my graduation.

Admission:

I got admission in the college by filling the admission registration form which is available online on the college's website. The admissions are completely based on the marks you score in the CBSE 12th examination.

The college offers on-campus job program for the students to make them independent and responsible. It arranges appointments on the basis of references and interviews. The college also provides Job orientation to all the selected students.

Remarks:

It has it's ups and downs, but it's easy to ignore the negative points and just enjoy the positives if you really want to. There is a lot of politics on campus that can be quite frustrating sometimes, but I think that's the case everywhere.
