- Things i liked in this college is exam conducting bodies and curriculum and very important senior junior connection where senior help juniors in most helpful way.
Dislikes
- I think the things i disliked about this college is support of faculties and the distance of hostels of 2nd 3rd and final year hostels from main college where classes are scheduled.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The curriculum in this college is almost the same as that of AKTU in most of the departments but in some departments, I think they should focus on providing a maximum relatable curriculum that can help students in the future at the start of 1st year.
Placement Experience :
Since last year our college had great placements but due to the recession period in IT fields. This year placement numbers are very low in branches like CS, IT but in chemical mechanical paint and other branches placements were good around 80 percent and above
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The fees policy in this college is good as for the last 5 to 6 years they have fixed tuition fees. The complete cost of the btech course is around 6.5 lakhs which is great. Government scholarships worth 50 to 60 thousand help students struggling with paying fees. They also have a concept of fee waivers that is the top 3 students of every branch will be restricted from paying tuition fees.
Campus Life :
The campus is so big as it has two different campuses. One east campus and the other one is the west campus.The East campus is the main campus where the main college operates. And canteens are available and hostels for 1st year. In the west campus hostels for 2nd 3rd and final year are available. It has a good ragging free campus
Hostel Facilities :
Hostel facilities are good but main problem that arise is for 2nd 3rd and final year students as west campus is almost 3 to 4 km far from east campus where classes are held. So generally students live in PG near the east campus . PGs are easily available near Nawabganj market.
Admission :
Here admission is provided on the basis of Jee mains rank but they have a completely different portal for counseling that is completely different from josaa counseling. Offline counseling rounds also take place.
Faculty :
Most of the faculty members are well qualified and have completed their Ph.D from reputed institutions and many faculties are even qualified from hbtu itself. But sometimes there is a lack of support from them where it is much needed
