Good teachers and good class room and teachers will help you more than any colleges
And the best thing you will get is the hostel facility with good food

There is no celebrations or any programs in this college
Water scarcity is severe in this college and no projecters in classes (even in computer science engineering classes)

Course Curriculum Overview :

I am first year and i think the curriculum is so bad because we need to study basics of electrical, electronics, mechanical, civil why do we need to study this subjects if we don't need it for future ? I am a cyber security student and this subjects will not help me in any aspects . So i think rather than studying subjects like chemistry ,physics ,basics ,graphics the curriculum should focus on programming

Class Size : 42Course Fees : INR 75000 per year

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

This college provide scholarships . I am a scholarship student and i have only 25k per annum of tuition fees ((doesn't include hostel and transportation) . But if you get any supply this scholarship will be cancelled

Campus Life :

The campus life is too bad there is no celebrations and no programs in this campus and there will be only freshers and sports. There is no arts,college day or any other celebrations. and there will be a workshop in every semester but you have to pay 500 for that too

Admission :

The admission process was quite simple and the application form will get from the office there is no application fees . It will be better if you take admission at last time of the admission because you will get more scholarship at that time

Faculty :

There are many faculties and their classes are good but the main problems is for many subjects there's less faculties at all . Teachers will support you in every aspects. You can interact with teachers every time .

NIT Cailcut-The Good,Bad and the Ugly

Placement Experience:

Students can apply for campus placements by the beginning of the 4th year.High paying companies are attracted by the placement cell which offer good packages to the students. The average packages for the circuital branch are pretty high. Each year about 200 companies are invited. The highest package for Electrical and Electronics has gone upto 38LPA with average package of about 14LPA in the graduation year 2024.About 128 students had registered out of which 120 students were placed.The minimum salary offered was 5LPA.

Is engineering here worth it?

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible from 7th semester to sit for interviews. The pod.ai app helps us in making the resume and calculating a cgpa to appear for the intwrviews. The pod.ai registration fees is 500?. Companies such as nissan,infosys,commandtech,bimlabs,gulfasia etc has visited . And the highest package was 11 LPA and lowest was 3 LPA
