DAV college : 'Not everyone's cup of Tea'

BCA in itself is not a very good course that will gurantee your placement in a good company with high package, Its relevance is high only beacuse its easy to complete and get the degree. For good packages you have to do MCA or work harder on your skill to get a good job. BCA helps in building base of your coding career, it offers a good grasp of C/CPP, Java and DataStructure.

BCA is not a high costing Degree, it's around rs. 50,000 Per Annum. From my experience I can say that there are Fees hikes every year, around rs. 2000-3000 Per Annum. Also there are hostels built inside college, that also costs like rs. 50,000 Per Annum. Students can also get financial assistance if they are economically backwards. There are no on-campus employment opportunities.

The college itself is very lively and energetic, with students coming from neighbouring states too, it's a good blend of culture. You'll definetly enjoy your college life and make new friends for sure. Library is pretty big and have so much books. Sports festival is held annualy but do need more activities where actually everyone can participate. Practical labs are equipped with ACs. There are so many Students groups and clubs.

Admission process was so simple, like when I had completed my 12th boards exam and was waiting for my results and was searching for colleges, I found about DAV college then searched how to get admitted, I just had to Register and Login on Panjan University website and fill out the form, the form was asking for basic details about me including 10th marksheet. The cut-off wasn't too high, though many students did not get their seats, I got DAV in the first round and I was way above the cut-off.

Most of the teachers are really bad at teaching stuff, most of them don't know what they are teaching to us, They are all good at talking to us and always tries to motivate us, they are friendly . But if you want to study you have to it yourselves or pray you get a good teacher, there are teachers who are good at teaching too but quite rare.
