Course Curriculum Overview
Course is based on NCISM rules and syllabus. Its extensive and vast but i think in today's age, doctors need knowledge of everything. They teach 50% modern and 50% ayurved in 1st year, after which percentage of modern reduces but does not vanishes so doctors who want to practice modern can also do so. Practicals are a huge part of our syllabus which helps the students gain actual implementation of the studies
Internships Opportunities
After UG, u are to intern for an year here at the BHARATI AYURVED HOSPITAL. As far as i know there is no stipend awarded to the students here. basic projects given here are OPD clinics and sometimes duties at the hospital etc
Fees and Financial Aid
Tution fee is raised by 5% each year as it is a deemed university. Im not aware of scholarships per say because im from general category but i know that people from reserved categories have special seats as well as are offered some discount on the fees acc to some scholarships. These scholarships are to be applied under the govt scholarship program running at that time. There is no stipend for pg students as far as i know since its a private institution. There is a compulsory internship after your UG course of 1 year where u can work at the Bharati Ayurved Hospital and gain practical experience.
Campus Life
Very less extracurricular activities are done here to be very honest. They have an annual fest known as gathering for 10-15 days which is very nice and has 7 days for sports and rest for cultural etc. tbh most of the students here dont have time for extracurricular activities but still they have clubs in which u can get involved. NSS tie up is really good, u can gain points as well as have eductional trips with NSS.
Admission
Eligibility is through the NEET exam. Cut off in my year for general was 350 marks. Reserved students have lower cutoff ofcourse, you can check that on any website at time of result. After that u just select it in the counselling process and if u get the seat, u have to go and confirm it at the college itself during the admission week/month.
Faculty
They are very helpful, have immense knowledge of their subjects. Some of them are too good, once u have taken a class, u dont need to study that topic anywhere else. They are sweet as well making it comfortable for the students to reach out to them. BVDUCOA has a teacher ward system which helps the students a lot in personal or academic problems.
