- The faculties are very frank and supportive and they try to help each and every students in the class. Specifically the ssd classes are the best coz there we as students can interact and share our opinion and learn.
- The environment of my college is really peaceful and nice. There is a garden where the gardeners plant the flower plants according to the season i.e it changes with the season. That's why after classes we can sit and chill a bit in the ground.
Dislikes
- There is no ac in classrooms except the labs. Infact the arrangement of fans are not in proper way that's why some get air and some doesn't.
- There are very less programs in my college. There is no fest organized by our college.
Course Curriculum Overview :
Cse is a couse which i wanted to do since i was a kid. A nowadays it a generation for computers and digital gadgets. There are a many opportunities for in this field. Out faculties encourage us to participate in techfests and hackathon which actually helps in developing a problem solving mind for real world based application. Only if the teach with projection and animations it will be more better i think. In every 3 month we have mid semester and in 6 month we have end semester exams. Quite easy to crack if you really study.
Placement Experience :
From the end of 2nd year , students are offers internships and at the end of 3rd year we can sit for placement offers. Tcs, capgemini, cognizant and amazon are few companies which visits our college. Highest package is like 7 lpa. 50% of the students get placement on campus. In i get a decent package placement on campus it's well and good if i don't get it i will simply complete my degree then start preparing for interviews and learn more skills.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The total price of 4 year of btech is 7 lakh which includes all the other expenses like tution fees except hotel fees. I applied for swami vivakananda scholarship but my application was denied i really don't know why. But there are a lot of scholarship available.
Campus Life :
Overall experience is good like yeah not like what i dreamt of but still it's good. So after joining college there is a reality check for every students. There is a basketball court but girls don't play and our college doesn't organize any inter college sport event or anything.
Admission :
I took direct admission since i was afraid that i will not get cse. I contacted with snu counsellor and the next day i went to see the college then filled up the application. They took a interview where they asked me very basic programming questions. Badic criteria for cse is above 75% in boards. I gave wbjee but i thought i won't get cse in any college with that rank so i took direct admission because i only want cse. But my suggestion will be wait and do counselling if giving wbjee because after joining college i saw many of my college mates got more rank and still got in my college for cse
Faculty :
The faculty members are really very friendly abd their teaching style is so unique. And they are really skilled and quantified enough for the students. Because they know how to interact with the students and get to know their weakness and help the students through it. We can reach out to the faculty member anytime with our problems because they are so helpful and even they support a student and boost their confidence.
