One of best arts college

Remarks :

College management is really good. There were not much restrictions made on students.

Course Curriculum Overview :

The course and curriculum structure was well made. There were timely tests to monitor student capacity. Internal exams, projects, and seminars were conducted with proper guidance. All the teachers were very much supportive and gave personal care for each student's studies. As I was a tourism student, faculties there give chance for conduction various tourism fares and exhibitions. They also helped to seek attention from pass out professionals.

Placement Experience :

There were placement programs held at end of the course. They also guided us for the external job fairs conducted at various places nearby.

College Events :

College day and arts day were the most celebrated events in the college. Apart from that, there was also time and money spent on other local festivals like Onam, Christmas etc. There were no limitations on the events. We also conducted many fests like tourism fest, food festival, tech festivals etc.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

Fees structure was as per the norms of the university. For BCom, it was 5000 per sem. The first year, there was admission fees of 15,000 and caution deposit of 3000. For the admission fees, they had also given wavier for meritous students. Even for normal students from backward families, they gave enough time to make payments.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

I haven't opted for any loan or scholarship. All papers required for the loan is easily available at the office. For scholarships, we had to register our self with the government or regional scholarship programmes. As the management is Christian missionary, there were also scholarships available from them.

Campus Life :

The campus life is the most what I explored there. The campus is located far from the rushes of the city. It's for calm and greenish. There were more girls than boys. Especially for the medical courses like lab technician, biotechnology and microbiology, there were more girls. The campus is very much supportive of extracurricular. We were given change to visit other college fests and university festivals. All the expenses on such events were covered by the college.

Alumni/Alumna :

Alumni and senior students are very supportive. There was no such differentiation between seniors and juniors. They also give proper guidance for conducting various events.

Admission :

I got into the college from the reference of a pass out student. Admission for BCom was not easy. There were only limited seats available at that time. I got the admission in August 2011. There was a personal interview with the manager. He also helped out to choose from other courses offered in the college.

Faculty :

Faculties in college are having well knowledge about what they teach. They also had proper vision on how to structure the curriculum. All of them were extremely friendly and was always willing to give special classes for what we are weak at. Besides the studies, they were also supportive of the other arts and fests conducted.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I'm a 3rd year BCom Taxation student. I don't think that some subjects are relevant for the course. Some subjects are not required in the future. From 5th sem onwards there is an open Course subject which we have to learn and pass the exam. The open Course subject that I have received is not based on the marks that I received in my previous semester exam. And in have to go to the office to change the subject of my like later on.

Course Curriculum Overview:

My dream is to become a accountant. So I choose this bcom with computer application course. The course structure was very nice and we can understand easily. In my opinion do more practicals . This course is therotically oriented which is not good when we go for a job. So it is better to give more practicals than theory sections. Main reason I hated the college was the exams. The college put the exam without any time gap which was very annoying
