    Course Curriculum Overview :

I have always wanted to study literature. it fascinates me a lot. We study about the history of literature and many other things. Curriculum should include more of Indian texts. Exams are held twice in a year.

    Internships Opportunities :

There are a number of internship opportunities provided in college. One such internship is Vice Chancellor's internship scheme. It is based on our subject interests. One can chose to do whatever job roles suit them. It even provides stipend after completion.

    Placement Experience :

In our college, we have a placement cell, job melas are held and everyone is provided opportunity for doing internships. In our third year we can get college placements. These placements offer somewhere around 2 lakhs to 7 lakhs per annum.

    Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

So I pay somewhere about 11,000 for a year so it would cost me around 35k for 3 years of bachelor's degree . Our college provide fee waiver to many students who are unable to pay tution fees. In addition to tution fee we have to pay examination fee for every semester which is around 1100-1500 depending upon subjects

    Campus Life :

Our college provide a great exposure for students. There are a no. of clubs and societies. We are free to chose any society according to our interests. Our library is very vast we can find almost all books related to our course.

    Admission :

So for enrolling in English Hons one had to have English as a subject in his class 12th. I entered college through an entrance test CUET . I scored 680/800. If one wants to pass CUET exam they need to prepare themselves according to objective paper

    Faculty :

Faculty is decent. Some professors are really nice and approachable. They teach very well. The faculty to student ratio is somewhere between 1:20 which I feel is quite good. The teachers are very responsive and don't hesitate in helping us

    Placement Experience:

Sri Venkateswara College provides placements for Science and Commerce Students, not for BA Students. The college has a good record in the placement cell. I am an Arts student so I don't have any placement. So I choose UPSC as my career option. I will try until I succeed.

    Placement Experience:

Placement cells do not provide placements to English graduates. Only a few companies came to hire English graduates. I'm planning to do a master's or B.Ed to secure a career in teaching after my graduation.

    Placement Experience:

6th-semester students are eligible to apply for campus placements. Companies like Bains and Co., KPMG, etc visit our college. Some are known and some unknown. I did not participate in campus placements as I decided to go for higher studies.

    Remarks:

The college is good and faculty teacher is very helpful and the canteen is great. The playground is very big and clean. College has many societies. Admission process is merit based and first cum basis.

    Admission:

No, because my admission merit based and my performance and sc quota so I can't face any group discussion, interview, or written tests. My result calculation is sufficient to get admission.

    Remarks:

The college is excellent when it comes to academic excellence though it lacks a bit in infrastructure and placements.

    Admission:

After giving my 12th class board exams I was looking at potential places to do my graduation from and Delhi University and Jamia millia islamia were on the top of my list due to their reputation and excellent national rankings. I ended up choosing jamia because it had the reputation for being very academics oriented and having a sincere student body. The fact that jamia has an entrance exam was also a draw for me as it ensured my peers were selected on the basis of stiff competition ensuring I got the best environment to pursue my academics.Jamia conducts its entrance exam around june-july with admissions taking place in august. The admission process is pretty straightforward and most of the process such as registration and payment of fees is online. The final registration is done in person in the university itself. Original documents such as 10th and 12th marksheets are required as well as character certificate and school leaving certificate. The list of required documents is available on the university website.
