Garden as Maitreyi has very beautiful gardens

Course Curriculum Overview :

The faculty was good enough. They will guide you regarding the subjects thoroughly. There were 2 teachers for almost every subject and the teaching method is pretty normal. I choose this course because I always wanted to build my career in this domain.

Class Size : 54Course Fees : INR 15000 per year

Placement Experience :

The placements were good enough and the ratio of students getting placed is high as compared to other colleges. The highest package by Deloitte was 6LPA and the lowest is around 3LPA. The companies visited included big MNCs and good startups.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The fees are easily affordable as you have to pay around 7000 for each semester, and the cost to study is high if you are an outstation student otherwise you can easily manage the expenses. I availed of various internships through the placement cell of my college as they bring career-oriented opportunities for the students.

Campus Life :

Our college conducts amazing fests, one of the main events to attend is Rhapsody- the annual cultural event of Maitreyi. You will find different sports facilities to attend. There are numerous clubs like Excelsior, Zeal, Achievement cell, etc. you can be a part of.

Admission :

The admission process was similar to that conducted by Delhi University as Maitreyi is one of the colleges under it. The eligibility to get in admission was to match the cut-off as released by the college based on the 12th board result, you can calculate your percentage with the top 4 scoring subjects. The application form can easily be availed through the official portal of DU. The application fees are different for different categories, I paid the registration fees of Rs.250/- Improvement can be done in the grievance redressal system as they provide some official email IDs for the students who are facing a problem but don't get back to it.

The students become eligible for campus placement from 3rd year and the companies that visit our campus are deloitte,kpmg india, kpmg global and pwc india, the highest package offered was 22.5lpa and the average package is 6lpa and around 85% students are usually getting placed, my plans after this degree is to pursue mba abroad

The reality of Choosing an Open Degree

Placement Experience:

From 3rd or 2nd year onwards maybe you'll be able to have do internships for placement opportunities. Like 40or 50% students gets placed .after getting this degree i may be going for IIM .So a course like bcom doesn't attract a high package.

The college is under Delhi University so if follows the DU admission process of filling up forms and declaring cut off lists. I filled up the form and waited for cut off lists declaration. I got my name listed in 3rd cut off list. Paid admission fees and got the admission.
