Course Curriculum Overview :
Exams are 50 percent MCQS AND 50 percent subjective preparing us for INICET/NEET PG and USMLE at the same time. What else do you want from a med school? Also, we have 2 hours of practical classes and 3 hours of clinical posting which prepares us to face practical problems and provide immense exposure. Minor tests are held every week. Major exams are held six monthly.
Internships Opportunities :
Internships are done in the college itself. It's of one-year duration and starts immediately after your final proffs. You are provided quite a decent stipend. Other internships via various third-party companies can be done anytime during your MBBS to improve your cv
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
4.5 years of MBBS and the total fee is 11500, hostel included. Mess bill has to be paid in accordance with dietary intake. There are some scholarships which can be availed via KVPY programmes, I don't have much knowledge. A fee of 11500 makes it affordable to almost everyone.
Campus Life :
Annual Fests include Pyrexia an inter-college fest which is studded with star nights, sports events, cultural events, and informal events. Also INVICTA - the annual sports fest in an intra college fest. Involving inter batch competitions The central library remains 24/7 open with all books easily available. Sports activities are held daily be it football, cricket, volleyball, badminton, table tennis, lawn tennis, basketball, futsal, e-sports etc Classrooms are completely digital and equipped with modern teaching devices
Admission :
To enroll yourself at AIIMS Rishikesh. You to secure a below 1000 All India Rank in NEET UG examination. Mine was 712. The details of application can be checked from official NTA website. NEET is a mcq based exam where you are supposed to solve 200 question in 200 minutes
Faculty :
The fact that if a faculty comes to give a lecture today will be seen again atleast after a month or so, indicates the presence of a good number of faculties here. The faculties here are top-notch and highly qualified. Most of them have spent a part of their academic career in top Indian universities like AIIMS Delhi, PGIMER Chandigarh, JIPMER and even in top-level international universities.
