Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

The curriculum is set by rguhs and is based on the cbme curriculum. It stops the age old rote learning and has lots of practical application. Furthermore most of the questions are clinical based. The university conducts one final exam at the end of the year which holds in for the majority of the percentage and is difficult initially.

Internships Opportunities

3.5

The internship period is compulsory one year period for all the medical graduates and you have the primary responsibility of Being the first contact of the patients. Responsibilities include rotations in all the departments of the hospital and it provide an enriching experience And gives you the actual skills to be a doctor

Fees and Financial Aid

Hikes vary depending upon the quota that you fall under. You can Apply for the government student Scholarship but that is only for students who have the karnataka state quota Usually nobody takes campus employment jobs.

Campus Life

4

The infrastructure is really good .the campus life is well-balanced between academics and extra other Co curricular activities .There are Campus fests called euphoria and impulse that is conducted for cultural and sports respectively. The library contains good range. And has easy accessibility of books and journals .there is wi-fi present in the campus

Hostel Facilities

4

The facilities of the hostel are very nice comparatively to other colleges. You can install washing machines or any other electrical appliances and only will be charged extra only if the electricity goes beyond a certain limit .the meal quality also good and there is non-vegetarian food every day for at least one meal Unfortunately, the hostel is honestly at a more expensive side but is worth the money for the facilities provided. There is also a court that is present in the middle of the hostel for leisure activities.

Admission

You will be eligible for the course only if you write the NEET exam and get the necessary marks. The marks for the government.Quota is quite high and reaches up 600. If you have reservation like nri quota , You need to only get the minimum eligibility marks decided by the neet exam

Faculty

4

The faculty members are quite distinguished in their careers. Most of them have several years of experience and teach quite well. The faculty is always helpful with doubts and are friendly to approach anytime. They employ different teaching methods like sgds and sdls

Other Applied Colleges

Yenepoya Medical College | Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS)
