The campus is really nice and the infrastructure is great, it's big and has a lot of places to eat and hang out after classes
The co curricular activities are really appreciated and a lot of initiatives are taken for the same

The datesheet is some times too hectic and overlapping for certain subjects
The examinations are very strict in terms of attendance and marking

Course Curriculum Overview :

The curriculum designed is very appropriate in terms of syllabus and effectiveness as per the branch . The curriculum does touch the topic of real world application in great depth and also the assignments and project works assigned are related to the same Regular assignments and tests are arranged by the teachers and their marks are counted in the internal

Internships Opportunities :

Oncampus internships are provided by the college and companies visit the campus for 3rd and 4th year students providing internship opportunities. They are very helpful for future studies and resume scorss

Placement Experience :

The placement at DTU is good , however after the COVID pandemic and due to recession it has been affected slightly , but the DTU placement cell works it's best to bring companies to the campus. The exact details of the package and average package etc is not exposed due to company policies

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The fees is a bit high and also when made to pay at once creates problems for people who are unable to arrange it at once. Some provisions are however made for such students. The fees increases every year and it includes fees for all academic related stuff. Co- curricular activities require different fees or payments as per the event . The hostel fees is also a little high and we are made to compulsorily pay for the mess as well and all at once. Various scholarships are available for students, on merit basis

Campus Life :

My overall experience at DTU has been great , various fests are organised by all the societies from time to time and the college life is very happening especially if you get to experience the hostel Life as well . The societies are great , the vibe is great , a lot of eataries are available in the campus and the class schedule is also relaxed

Hostel Facilities :

The hostels are great , especially the new ones , they have the best facilities from mess to ac to wifi and security and cleanliness. The mess menu changes according to the students collective decision and the hostel council approvs of it . The food is 7/10 The registration process is provided in detail on the website however being physically present at the time of document submission is necessary and the space is enough to accommodate a lot of people especially girls

Hostel Fee : INR 72000 per year

Admission :

The admission process is central. It is easy and the admin is helpful in such matters The DTU website has listed every detail from admission to fees , to allotment, course detail etc and is very efficient as well. All the details about reservation of seats and upgradation is also available on the DTU website itself. The exams are divided into two parts, mid terms and end terms , internal marks may include certain class tests depending on the faculty.

Faculty :

The hods and permanent professors are really great , they know how to teach and are also very understanding and helpful , however the PhDs assigned are sometimes not very good at teaching and take very few classes which sometimes creates problems during the exam preparation season.

Explore as much as you can in your college life.

Placement Experience:

Placements at DTU are good, even in core branches, but students must have the necessary skills. At DTU, over 300 companies visit, offering decent packages. The highest packages can reach crores (of course, these are international packages). Some students also prefer to pursue master's degrees or MBAs after their degree. From the third year, students are eligible for on-campus internship opportunities, and in the fourth year, they are eligible for placements. It is definitely beneficial, but you must have skills and knowledge of your subjects. Strong communication skills are also essential.

I wanted to learn coding and that's why i chose btech in computer science at igdtuw. the curriculum is not designed from the perspective of preparing you for real-world application, instead it solely depends on what should be taught at a university based on the branch. the area of improvement could be removing the unrelated subjects in the first year of engineering because no one actually learns anything from that and instead, there should be related subjects. exams are held twice a semester, making it four times a year

Delhi's second IIT, DTU

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placements in 6th semester . Many big companies visit the college and there are very big offers each year and even offers upto 1.5cr have been made . The average package for CSE is 18 lpa and almost all CSE students that opt for placement get placed . My plan is to pursue higher education after degree.

Placement Experience:

The college is known for its placements, it has great placement opportunities. The companies like Microsoft, Amazon, Atlassian, Uber, Walmart, Wipro, and many more visits the college for placements and offers more than 30 lacks package. The highest package offered to a student was 59. 45 lacks in the year 2021 and the average salary package was 19.15 lacks , the highest package was Google. The college provides internship opportunities as well and it gets started from the beginning of 3 Rd year of students, students in their 2 nd year also got internship opportunities. so almost all students get placed and if someone still does not get any placement so they have the opportunity to do higher study in Mtech. The college provides higher study options to students, this includes Mtech and Ph.D. courses and many more. So you can go to this college.

DTU might be better

Placement Experience:

From the end of the 4th sem and starting of the 5th sem students can get internships easily they are eligible for placement just after the 3rd year many students get placement in the same companies they are interning in. Many companies visit the campus to take interviews n every year and give many offers to the students. The last highest offer was around 1.2 crores Nd average is around 25-30lakhs. College claims 100% of students get placed but the reality is actually around 90% get placement actually others. My plans after getting the degree will be to become the richest person in my family then in the world.

NSUT-Rising and improving everyday

Placement Experience:

From 3rd year students are eligible for campus placements. Major companies include Microsoft, Google, Amazon, Swiggy, Sprinkler, Blackstone etc. A few years back,8 students from NSUT got a staggering package of 1.25 Crore from Google. The average package for tech branches is around 17-18 lakhs per annum. In tech branches, it has a humbling record of 100 percent placements approximately. As of now, I'll like to do my master from abroad after completing BTech from NSUT
