Course Curriculum Overview

This manufacturing engineering completely covers the syllabus of mechanical engineering and automobile engineering and the basics of plastics. while the plastics technology course completely depends only on plastics.

Class Size: 70Course Fees: INR 61000 per year

Internships Opportunities

There will be a 2-day intern program conducted from the college side. other than the intern, there is a CAD CAM CAE department that offers many training programs in new product development with software like NX CATIA SOLIDWORKS ANSYS HYPERMESH with placements assistance and project assistance.

Placement Experience

There is placement assistance. There will be only core placements offered not IT or anyother offers. Maximum of 50 to 60 students will be placed before the last working day. The average package ranges from 2.5 to 3 lpa.

Fees and Financial Aid

The students who got admission through counseling have academic fees of 61000rs per year and hostel fees of 20000 rs and 30000rs per year. There are many scholarships available like the first graduate, BC/MBC scholarship, Pragati scholarship for girls, and SC/ST scholarship. You can also avail of educational loans.

Campus Life

College life is slightly different comparing other institutions. There are only two departments available here, There is a single academic block with less number of classrooms. However, there are many mechanical lab facilities available. Events like sports meet, Freshers Day, and CIPOFEST will be conducted yearly.

Hostel Facilities

The hostel rooms can accommodate 3 to 4 persons per room. Mess facilities are available. There is allowance time in the boys' hostel that they are permitted to go out and reach the hostel within night 9 pm every day. As the location of the hostel in the center of the city, there are many facilities available. The Eekatuthangal metro station is present just outside the campus.

Hostel Fee: INR 25000 per year

Admission

There are no entrance exams for admission. The admission process is purely based on your HSC marks obtained in your schooling. The cut-off ranges from 140 and above and can avail easily. There is also a reservation seats lapse.

Faculty

The faculty-student relationship is pretty good. But there are less number of faculties handling more number of subjects. The staff are majorly from the ARSTPS who are currently working under research projects.

Placement Experience:

At our college students get placed during the 7th semester as from August to December companies keep coming and also do they give us jobs based on roles that they have and what we want. Either way it's a win win for students only because getting placed through campus in top corporate houses is a novelty.

My safe place

I believe that our college give a best placement ever because it is a Central institute college and of course, we can easily enter into the government jobs and they literally provide good placements with a good salary and the average salary in our college will be like 4 to 5 lakhs and also we have internship facilities. In our own colleges, we know need to roam around the city for internship. And we also have ARC TS the programme which is a big building where I experiments and testing will be happening and we can lively see how the plastics are being manufactured produced being moulded and being served as a final product also from the. Scars to the end, we can see everything. Practical view is the most sensitive view. We can easily grab our knowledge with and why I got rejectionaries because of the cut off maths which I got I bought only 149, which was not sufficient for me to go into Anna University. My first college was Anna University and the same college was also announced later technology. Third was my college, a manufacturing engineering and the fort was my course plastic technology. The first 3 was rejected because of my cut off marks. But then I don't care about that because now I am getting placed in a good college and I'm going to be playing placed good in my career also....Read More
