Good: Non-compulsion of attendance, unlimited data, the cleanest and beautiful campus, the best auditorium in India, one of the biggest in all terms in Asia. Bad: Though the management cannot do anything about it but still the campus is located in outskir

Entrance Preview :

JEE MAINS: 185 JEE ADVANCE: 165 BITSAT: 306 I had many options which includes NIT RAIPUR, BITS HYDERABAD, SRM, VIT, and a local college in Chattisgarh. Finally I ended up with either NIT and BITS. Obviously BITS was a better option among two.

Course Curriculum Overview :

Their is a lot of scope of research,We have to make our timetables ourselves, just like MIT, the curriculum includes workshop and engineering graphics.

Internships Opportunities :

Their are two sessions of practice school; one after second year and the other in the fourth, for those who want to know about the companies that come, common people it is BITS.

Placement Experience :

Brilliant. The practice schools are stipend, if you don't want a practice school, you can call for thesis. The placements for branches like CS, EEE, ECE go high and the job opportunity is in 90's, for branches like CIVIL, MECHANICAL, CHEMICAL, etc The placement is as good as most of the IIT's and NIT's.

College Events :

Their are basically three+one fests: ATMOS- Tech fest, one of the biggest tech fest of India PEARL- The Cultural fest, definitely in the top seven cultural fest of the country ARENA- The sports fest, almost includes teams from each recognised colleges in South India.VERBA MAXIMUS: the literary festThe footfall is high enough, each and everything is organised by students.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Initially while admissions you can avail education loan, especially one by the State Bank of Hyderabad. Their are many scholarship once you get in. The scholarships range up to 80%.

Campus Life :

Campus life is one of the best thing here. You have people from everywhere. The North to south ratio is greater than one. Gender ratio being around 5:1. The people here have qualified a common exam, their is no reservations or management quota in BITS. The labs are completely equipped. Sports competitions are held regularly, inter hostels competitions, matches with local colleges, etc are held almost each second week.A football league and a cricket league is organised where students are brought by virtual money. Debate, extempores everything's held weekly.

Hostel Facilities :

Hostels and Mess food are pretty good, to rate them from 10, I would give a 8. The fees you might think is high but the education, the extra curriculars, sports, everything adds up perfectly well.

External Expense : Rs.2000 - Rs.4000

Alumni/Alumna :

This is the best part of Bits, the seniors here are very helping, their are interacting sessions to start with but then they are the people you would go for anything and everything. Bits has the one of the biggest Alumni. Startups and entrepreneurs fill in the list which includes even actors, politicians, and people with high delicate. Bits is well reputed everywhere.

Faculty :

The faculty includes IITIANs, BITSIANs, people who are themselves engaged in research, and many other highly qualified professors and lecturers.

We are eligible for the campus placements for fourth year starting and the placements will be in high and package are too good. The college holds a record of getting highest placed students in the state. Coming to highest package is 930000 and average is 600000-700000.The top companies like Google, Microsoft, Deloitte, TCS is offering highest package and giving placements. The students should maintain around 70% in academics to get a good placement. My plans to get placed in good company and Explore myself.

Placement drives in our college will start from the final yr and students are eligible to attend the drives from the 7th sem. Admission:

The college accepts admission only via TS EAMCET. I applied for the entrance examination after completing my 12th standard exams. Once the results of the entrance exams are out, via counselling I got admission in the college.

Placement Experience:

The college has a placement cell and a placement officer that takes care of all the placement activities. The college also gives training related to appearing for interviews, group discussion etc for students to perform well.
