A pleasant atmosphere of freedom

Remarks :

The college takes care of students in a good way. Finally, it is the best spot to fulfill your dreams.

Course Curriculum Overview :

Yes, the syllabus is based on a choice based credit system. The course is awesome. The ECE takes over the rule compared to other departments. Hope so this would train me as a good professional. There were research centers set up in Saveetha engineering college. Where a student can perform their innovative projects.

Placement Experience :

There were many core companies as well as banking services such as HDFC, ICICI, DBS, RBS And companies like Byju's, Amazon is recruiting us. Recently I had completed my internship at BSNL and Ashok Leyland.

College Events :

The college conducts many events from January to December. The list of events are Pongal villa, Sports meet, mini projects contest, Hackathon, Motivational classes, Entrepreneur programs, Seed programs, Placement cell programs, Competitions, Paper presentation and so on.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

The first year fees are 85000 which includes books and other accessories. Second-year takes around 60000, then other expenses such as food and accommodation accounts to 50000. It is worth money. There were medical students. So we get great exposure to them.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

I have opted for a first graduate scholarship around 20k and other merit scholarship shall range from 10k to 35k.

Campus Life :

There was pleasant peace in the environment with good food and good life. The gender ratio is equal and only 30 students per class make a great student-faculty interaction. There were many development labs, Robotics lab, men's lab, biotech lab, analog, and digital lab and so on.

Alumni/Alumna :

Yes, our college organizes an alumni meeting every year they were proved to be helpful, it has a good value to get their experience.

Admission :

I got admission based on my HSC marks. Through Anna university counseling. They were completely based on my marks. There were few procedures to get admission. Step 1.complete our counseling at anna university. Then visit the admission office at saving the university and produce your original certificates for verification and pay course fees.

Faculty :

There were many doctorates spoon-feeding students with enriched syllabus as well as updating us with current affairs. They are very skilled and well trained to teach us. They are user-friendly. They have more concern about our future than us. They become a part and parcel of my life.

Placement Experience:

The campus placements start in the 7th semester. Due to the recession, there is a lot of backlash when it comes to placements. It has been quite poor for the last few years. But it depends on how the student is prepared for the competitive world.

Placement Experience:

Placement is good for the CSE and IT departments. You can't expect placement if you belong to other departments, there is a placement for the other departments but very less. Campus placement starts in 3rd year itself. They have special classes for Aptitude skills and interview preparation GD and necessary preparations for job placement opportunities. 90% of students from CSE and IT get placed. The average package is 7.5 LPA you can expect a minimum of 3.5 LPA. If you are willing to go for higher studies you can contact the international relation office they have good relations with other universities abroad, they have students exchange programs, research scholarships etc if you are not planning to seat in placement. I plan for higher studies and research after my Btech.

The placements in my college is very good and top companies hire students across every branch with a good amount of package. At the end of 3rd year every student is elegible for the placements in college. About 20 to 25 companies visited for campus hiring and approximately 700 offers were given across the college from every branch. 60 percentage of students got placed in the campus hiring program. Highest package is 24 LPA and the aveyis 5LPA. My plan is to get into a good MNC company which is related to Aerospace technology.
