We do have good professors,teachers,and they are friendly they also have fests and events.

The canteen is very unhealthy and the price are very high hence poor students cannot afford.

Course Curriculum Overview :

The aspects that influenced me to choose this course as it is a very demanding course these days.In this college the faculty is very good and it teaches the course very properly.The exam timings are good also the difficulty is quite descent .The person should have to study thoroughly to pass the exam.There should be installed smart boards in class so that is the only thing to improve.

Class Size : 64Course Fees : INR 530000 per year

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

As compared to the last year this year the fees increased by 2lakh rupees.The complete cost including Tution,service and other charges is 5lakh 30 thousand ruppees.The svmcm and minority group are government scholarships which are available for students.There are also private scholarships like reliance and jindal. Till now i have not undertaken any employment and job roles.

Campus Life :

There are tech fests in college which are pretty good .The sports and extracurricular activities are pretty good there are tournaments and everything like badminton ,football,cricket etc.There are not much technological provisions within the classroom.No there are not such student portals and clubs in the college this is a ragging free campus.

Admission :

Admission process was good.One has to get 60 percent in boards.The cuttoff was around 27k in third round in wbjee.The exams were hard like the wbjee is pretty hard one cannot get good marks if they had not studied properly. I think they should decrease the cuttoff because earlier the cuttoffs were really low but gradually they are increasing.

Faculty :

The learning experience is quite good the teachers are friendly not all are but some the teachers are friendly.The faculty credentials and their approach to teaching and mentorship is quite good.The teachers are good and friendly and so they are easily approachable.

Review of IEM Kolkata, a strict Engineering College.

Placement Experience:

The students are eligible for the placements after the sixth semester. The companies that generally visit us for placements are TCS, Infosys, Cognizant, Accenture, Wipro, Oracle, IBM and some other ones. The highest package offered through last years is 22 Lacs Per Annum and on average it is 4-5 LPA. 90% students on average get placed Every year. My plans after getting the Degree is to pursue Freelancing Full Time and Become a Web Designer.

Good Placements

Placement Experience:

We become eligible from the later part of the third year to sit for the placements as the companies arrive then. Mainly placements are dependent on service-based companies like TCS, CTS, Wipro e.t.c. who mass recruits a whole lot of students with standard 3.5 to 4 LPA packages. Product-based companies like Oracle, Amazon, and trilogy too visited the campus. Oracle recruited a few of the candidates, Amazon too but nobody could clear the trilogy's OA rounds. Oracle offered a package of 15lpa and Amazon around 22 LPA. But a lot of students applied off campus and the highest placement off campus was 72 LPA in Google. The placement percentage is nearly 100% which is mainly due to the fact of service-based companies. I too am interested in IT jobs so am preparing for the same.

Seeing stcet again through my eyes

Placement Experience:

Students from the 4th-year 7th semester onwards become eligible for all sorts of campus recruitments. Cognizant technology solutions are the principal recruiter. Other companies which used to come during this time include Infosys, Odesha technologies, itc infotech, and others. All these companies generally take many students from our campus. During our time around 88% of students got selected from our batch. Out of which many students got double job offers from cognizant and Infosys. Some got job offers in sonodyne, Vodafone, and other companies. The highest package was offered by cognizant which was about 6 lakhs per annum. An average package of 3.5 lakhs per annum was offered by Infosys followed by itc infotech which offered roughly 4 lakhs per annum. After getting the degree I will pursue Ms maybe or maybe I can opt for MBA too. Also, I can sit for ies exam. Let's see what happens.

talking about few things. the quality of teaching delivered, educational technology available, facility provided at campus, placement records, location of the college, living environment around college. none of these are suitable or habitable. I may surely not advise anyone to get admitted in this college.
