Course Curriculum Overview :
I chosse electronics and communcation to explore both sides of the it world be it hardware or software. We had very almost 7 lectuires each day which seemed too much, a bit more focus practical knowledge was required
Internships Opportunities :
I was interned as Layout engineer at ST Microelelectronics, greater noida for a duration of eleven months. I have spent my whole 4th year of college doing this internship. My stipend was INR Thirty Thousand only. There used to be a perfect work environment with daily task meeting, each one working on their specific projects and team outings.
Placement Experience :
I think due to recession, the colleeg placements were quite down suddenly. There were many opportunities for internships but very less for fulltime and in that too negligible in tech, all opportunities were almost in sales.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
There were many scholarshiops for jammu and kashmir residents, students belonging to categories like ST,SC etc. There were also seats reserved for sports quota. Max fee per semester would be INR 50,000
Campus Life :
I was co -head of the western dance group of the organization, so was quite involved in the extra curricular activities, there was no instructor as such , students were menat to prepare everything on there own. Infrasturcture was okayy. A highly well maintained was there which had almost every book one could ever ask for.
Admission :
Jee mains was the exam on the basis of whuich we were provided streams in btech, there were quite forms to be filled along with various documents required, days were elected for admissiona nd you can visit at any time o that day to get your admission process done
Faculty :
Some of the faculty memebrs and even HOD were quite supportive. The encouraged discussions and overall student development mattered to them. They encouraged outsights and practical learning was more important to them
