- the college is good with a good enviornment and ambience, its a quite big place to be and all the department are sorted well all the colleagus are helpful and co-operative and the facuilty here was good as they come from an iit background to teach .
- the facuilty was good here and the teachers are good and supportive the infrastructure was well prepared for all the students all the amineties was available in the college with a good canteen for student to hangout with a proper garden area.
Dislikes
- the things i dislike was the hostel fees as the hostel fees was quite high the very first year the provided good food but later on it was not tolerable and the buillding was not painted properly due to some reason.
- the weather here in college is quite unpredictable as in summer it continus with a heat wave and in winters its too cold to go out overall the weather is good depend what you want.
Course Curriculum Overview :
the special aspects could be the ambience here and as the PTU Boards they are equivalent like other big colleges if you are good in the stream you choose the college will help you in a beter way if you are willing to work and make progress and thats why i choose mechanical as it was core branch in our time, the cirriculum ws diffrrent but not exactly diffrent as every board have their diffrent syllabus so rest you need to work on that even in real word the facuilty helps you to become better to achieve goodin your academic level, i shoud suggest that the college shold be strict about all the cources available and provide a good level of teacher who can help in the practical exams and the written as well rest all the teacing method was good but needs a lil bit of improvement, well the frequency of the exams were good all the questins were god and it comes from the PTU board only all you need to go though the study material and some of the practicals and can achive exams easily.
Internships Opportunities :
the college provide internship to the students like some of the companies are Swaraj, Tata Steel , Bhel and some other private companies which provides internship cources to the students with a minimum stipend amount depending on the area of intrest, our college have made many prototype for the farmers of the local ares to facilate good work and productivity the students built various projects that can be helpful for future need of mainly for the farmers of punjab.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
the fee are quite expensive for some families as the yearly fees for the diploma here is about 60000 and it could increse as the college proides more amenities to their students and overall the complete cost to complete your diploma willb be around 4.5 lacks to 5 lacks including your personal expences if you opt for hostel accomodation it goes up higher, there as such scholarship available for the backward students who have their quotas and the students who perform well the colleges even provide free of cost tutin fees and other charges also, the college sometimes offer a campus placement depending upon the student as the placement cell gives student opportunities to some students but ive seen only private companies who come and hire students with a lot of work load and there are some industrial training also which the college arrange and provide a stipend to their students.
Campus Life :
after all ive been passed out of the college the experience was good i made a ot of friends there the college organise diffrent diffrent functions for the college students for the entertainment and as the it is in punjab all the punjabi festivals are done here witha good bash and in our collge every student can easily acess the library anytime during the college hours there are lot of books available and there are diffret labs for all the subjects so the studnts can easily do the practical and every year the college arrange sports activity like cricket, voleyball and diffrect such games as per the students its quite intresting the college is good if you want to look for our college you can visit the social platform and search for the college many students have created a page and do upload all the activities held in the college which help the new commers to seek and take addmission easily in this college.
Admission :
the addmission process is uite good you dont need to have any cut off marks or indeed all you need is just to qualify your schooling with an average of 55% marks ive visited the placement cell directly and filled up the form for the addmission and after when i got registered in the college the team asked to submit the 1st semister fees and it was a fast process of about 2 or 3 hours it was smooth once ive submited the fees i got a challan and date when the college is about to start all you need is to wit for the new session to begin if you have any reservation the college will give you the scholarship every year as i told you the exams are quite casual like others you need to go through the study material and it will be qute easier as per my perspective yes the rest addmission caan take quite a bit time if the relevent person attent the student until the addmission have been done it will take only 3 min to complete the addmission process.
Faculty :
the facuilty here was good but there was one problem that for some specific subjects the teachers are less or they were un-trained and that impacts directly for the practicals as in the exams the also condust practical assments which we have to go through but the facuilty were less sometime the were unable to teach us the exact syllabus at the moment and we have to study on our own to understand things this impacts us in the results and in future experience, either the rest facuilty were good and experiences and they were really helpful even after the lectures we used to visit to teacher for some problems the helped us even after that also and have guides us well the teacher are so friendly here whatever the subject will be all are helpful and are good liseners and helped us in our bad days to achive good marks and we can approach the teacher easily in our free available time.
Interview Experience :
nowe didnt faced any kind of group discussion only a few questions were asked in the placement cell like the name , where you belong from, and how did you found this college only a simple queston will be asked by the placement cell no written exams were taken the assmisson is quite smooth here, as i mentioned the process is simple you can come to the college or email or call the college the will let you know about the process and you just need to fill us some forms and submit the first semister fees along with the hostel if needed and you are done for the day. it is easir you should try hrere in ths college.
