A platter, it has in some amount of everything that a student needs.

My reason to choose this course was due to my aim and that is to get into the civil services and I thought Political Science Hons. is the course which will help me to understand the polity part of my preparation. The professors were very well versed with what they taught. And they helped students a lot to improve and get better. This course is wholely based on theory so the key to excel is only if you study thourougly. We had 6 semesters. And the exams level was moderate.

When i was a student in the college my fees was 7555 including all the tuition and service charges, for a whole year. It did got an increase later on. I am not known to the fact that the college does provides any scholarship or financial aid or not. My course does not get under the bracket of campus employment as it is a therotecial course.

We did have a departmental and an annual fest at that time but presently the college administration restricted the annual college fest. So currently ebery dept have their fest which they organise annually. It provides exposure to the students and generally you get along with new people in the college and make friends to have a nice memory. The fest season is absolutely one of the best memory in a student's life. The college has a 2 storey library and there are wide range of books to choose from. Students can also come and do their work in their free time. The classrooms are not technically upgraded. There are basic classrooms with a white board. The college is really doing great in the area of sports and extra curricular. Recently, a cricket team of the college has been created too. Other major sports played in the college are basketball and volleyball. Students do run a number of social club, we call it a society. In this college you get a wide number of socities.

The admission process at that time i.e. in the year 2019 was through cutoffs. So I got admission in the first cutoff released by the college. After the cutoof was released then I went to the college for further admission process. It was a bit time taking but all the professors really helped to go through it smoothly.
